The Parliament of Québec (Québec French: Parlement du Québec) is the legislative body of Imperial Québec. It is a bicameral chamber, consisting of the House of Lords and the House of Commons; both of which are not elected however, and are instead appointed by the Sovereign in a meritocratic fashion. The House of Lords, the upper house, is significantly more important when it comes to passing legislation.
