Template:Army/Navy TemplateThe Royal Indochinese Army or RIA is the official army of Indochina and the oldest and largest branch of the Royal Indochinese Armed Forces. It was renamed to the Royal Siamese Army on 4 July 2020 after the unification of Siam and Vietnam.
History
Origin
The Royal Indochinese Army is responsible for protecting the kingdom's sovereignty. The Royal Siamese Army was founded on the 16 November 2018 to counter the raids by Willyburbian Bandits in Bangkok.
When Siam and Vietnam united on 4 July 2020 to become Indochina, the branch was renamed to the Royal Indochinese Army.
