Great American War

The Great American War, also known as the Great North American War, or as the Texas War in Cascadia, was a large intercontinental conflict between the Republic of Cascadia and its OFN allies, and the Kingdom of Texas. It was one of the largest wars in the history of Terra Aurora, and is considered by many to be the most significant conflict in North America's history.
Background
In November 2023, a nation-hopper named HersheyJr arrived in Texas, having previously spending time in Cascadia and contributing to the end of the RMF Wars. While in Texas, Hershey obtained perms to the Texan capital of Houston, and severely damaged the Texan capitol in a terrorist attack. [More details?] In response to this attack, on December 18, 2023, Texas declared war on Cascadia, claiming that Cascadia was involved in planning and backing the attack. The speech of the Texan King, North_Paso, during this war declaration would become infamous amongst his critics, and would earn the nickname "The deadly sins speech", due to the way he compared several notable Cascadians to the deadly sins. This would mark Texas' entry into the Wagner War, with Texas and other anti-Cascadia allies planning on using the server's then-new overclaim functionality to overclaim Cascadian towns and force them to submit to the rule of the Reformed Republic of Cascadia. Ultimately, this war became inactive after Wagner failed to overclaim any more than a single chunk of Cascadian territory, and ended in March 2024 after the San Francisco Offensive of 2024, although no official peace treaty was ever signed.
During the spring of 2024, the Cascadian government typically treated Texas with ambivalence, and generally nothing more than a distant threat. Due to Texas being the closest remaining Wagner-aligned nation to Cascadia, it was still treated with particular concern by the Cascadian Department of Defense, and the newly formed National Security Agency. On March 28, 2024, Cascadian officials were alerted to the beginnings of a chain of Texan towns moving in the direction of California. At the same time, prominent mayors in California alerted defense officials that Ewhy, who now owned the town of Sacramento in Northern California, was attempting to get them to secede with him and join Texas. It was at that point that the Department of Defense began to put together war plans in preparation for a Texan invasion. The initial concerns of Cascadian defense officials was the possibility of Texas using it's increasing nation bonus to bring about defections in California, and the possibility that Texas could place siege towns across Cascadia to launch another attempt at overclaiming notable towns.
