Joseon, oficially the Kingdom of Joseon (Korean: 홍익인간) is a nation situated in the heart of the Korean peninsula. Although English is the most spoken language, Korean may be used in official documents as part of headers and/or titles and on signs throughout the territory.

Geography

Joseon borders a number of different nations. As of now, most of the peninsula is empty.. The physical limits of Joseon are as follows:

Constitution

It is our highest desire to promote the values of life, wisdom, and community; and to create a stable ground upon which the basis of the Joseon Kingdom and Society can be laid. As such, We, the people of Joseon, do hereby adopt, enact, and give to ourselves this Constitution.

Article One. Of the Crown and Of the Kingdom

1.1a The Crown is the symbol of the power of the state, which is vested in the monarch.
1.2a The titles of “King” and “Queen” can be interchangeably used to refer to the reigning monarch.
1.2b The names of “Kingdom”, with a capital ‘K’, can be used to refer to the nation as a whole.
1.3a The King exercises His sovereign authority in full compliance with the provisions of the Constitution and laws.
1.3b The King, at all times, shall have absolute power, but He cannot go over this Constitution or use them for His own personal gain, and to the detriment of the Kingdom.
1.3c If the King is found to have used His powers for personal gain or to the detriment of the Kingdom, the People of the Kingdom shall vote and decide whether or not to force the current monarch to abdicate, for the People combined have the same power as the King.
1.3d For the King to be forced to abdicate, there must be an unanimous vote in favour.
1.4a The territory of the Kingdom is defined as the geographical Korean peninsula, located in East Asia, and bordered by the East Sea in the East and the Yellow Sea in the West, as well as the adjacent islands and is subject to the provisions of law.
1.4b The territory of the Kingdom is inalienable.
1.5 To be considered a citizen of the Kingdom, one must reside in a town belonging to the Kingdom.

Article Two. Of Power and Law

2.1a The Government shall consist at least two members who shall be appointed by the King in accordance with the provisions of this Constitution.
2.1b The executive power of the State shall, subject to the provisions of this Constitution, be exercised by or on the authority of the Government.
2.1c The Government shall meet and act as a collective authority, and shall be collectively responsible for the Ministries administered by the members of the Royal Council.
2.1d The King may, for reasons which to Him seem sufficient, by an order under his hand and Seal, terminate the appointment of any member of the Government appointed by him.
2.2a There shall be a national Senate to be called “Chamuiwon (참의원)”.
2.2b All citizens of the Kingdom shall be members of the Senate.
2.2c The sole and exclusive power of making laws for the State is hereby vested in the Senate: no other legislative authority has power to make laws for the State.
2.2d The Senate shall not enact any law which is in any respect repugnant to this Constitution or any provision thereof.
2.2e Every law enacted by the Senate which is in any respect repugnant to this Constitution or to any provision thereof, shall, but to the extent only of such repugnancy, be invalid.
2.3a Every Bill initiated in and passed by the Senate shall be sent to the King and may be amended by the King, and the Senate shall consider any such amendment.
2.3b A Bill may be initiated by the King, and if passed by the Royal Council, shall be introduced in the Senate.
2.3c In order for a law to be passed, a 48 hour voting session shall be held where all members of the Senate are allowed to vote.

Article Three. Of the People

3.1a All citizens shall be considered equal in both rights and duties.
3.1b Upon becoming part of the Kingdom, each new mayor is subject to a binding agreement; he shall swear loyalty to the Kingdom; he shall abide by all provisions of the current Constitution and any other law of the Kingdom; he shall contribute to the Kingdom by being active, developing his town and aiding in the development of the Kingdom.
3.2a All citizens shall enjoy the following rights: freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression; freedom of peaceful assembly and association; the right to vote; and the right to be elected and appointed to hold a public office, unless specified otherwise.
3.2b Faithfulness towards the Kingdom is sacred. As such, all citizens shall be loyal to the Kingdom and, when in need, be willing to take arms to defend It.
