General elections occurred on 17 October 2022 in Cascadia to elect the President of Cascadia and all twelve seats in the House of Representatives for one-month terms. These were the third elections to be held in Cascadia, and the first to be held after the independence of Cascadia from New Mexico and the seperation of Cascadia from the United States of America.
Incumbent President ViolentVampire stood for re-election, after several giant achievements, such as victory in the Six-Hour war, doubling the population of Cascadia, and the continued success of Cascadian welfare programs. He was challenged by Mayor of San Diego PesosInhaler, also known as LawOfRence, a veteran player from Terra Nova running a shitpost campaign. The presidential election resulted in Vamp's easy re-election, receiving 88.9% of the vote. Voter turnout was down slightly at 40.9% of registered voters, however the number of raw votes increased by 6. The house elections resulted in incumbents two-thirds of the seats, with Incumbents however winning around 51% of first-preference votes.
