The Third Nubian Empire, otherwise known as Nubia, is a meganation spanning the continents of Africa, the Middle East and central and southern Asia. As a meganation, it encompasses several other nations, including the nation of Nubia itself. Its capital, Aurora:Meroe, where the nation was founded on 25 December 2023, lays on the River Nile and is headed by its Emperor Thee_Boss. It is the third iteration of Nubia, since 2019, after the first and second iterations on Terra Nova. As of December 2024, it encompasses 280 towns within the meganation, and 150 within the nation itself, with a population of 800—900 residents.
The founding of Nubia in December 2023 was the reincarnation of Nubia from Terra Nova; the key figures involved in the founding, Emperor Thee_Boss, gorkymoo1119, and ex—Emperor twomoo1119 both played a significant role in the First and Second Nubian Empires previously. Much of its early founding documents, including its Aurora:Constitution of Nubia, was made with reference to the governmental system of the Second Nubian Empire.
The Third Nubian Empire is a constitutional monarchy, defined by democratic characteristics, including the election of five ministerial positions that form the Upper House, informally known as the Cabinet. The meganation is further subdivided into smaller provinces, with devolved responsibilites for regional and local governance. The Upper House is advised in their duty by the Aurora:Imperial Assistant (Nubia); a position currently held by ItsTimeToDuel, and whose role was redefined in December 2024. The role of Grand Bovine, an advisory position, is also held by those involved in the foundation of the Third Nubian Empire; Emperor Thee_Boss, gorkymoo1119 and twomoo1119.
