Skirmish of Joe Town
The Skirmish of Joe Town was a skirmish that took place in Joe Town, Ethiopia on August 17, 2021 from around 10:30 PM EDT to 11:00 PM EDT. After mostly monotonous fighting in toggled PvP chunks, players began to leave the battle and it ended. A video of the skirmish has been uploaded to youtube and can be watched here.
Pre-Battle
(Note: This is may incorrect. Please fix in the future.) Prior to the skirmish, Nubia expressed its discontent with a new Ethiopian town - Joe Town - that was placed within Nubia's borders. Nubia attemped to contact the mayor of Joe Town, joelover, and he declined Nubia's attempts to reason with him. After a few days of this back-and-forth, Twomoo1119 and CheatoKiller1744 went to the town and a skirmish began.
The Skirmish
The skirmish itself started around 10:30 PM EDT. Nubia was initially outnumbered, with only 2 Nubians fighting against 4 Ethiopians. A few minutes later, ArcaPlays and Yoshigamer1298 heard the ongoing skirmish over the vc and headed over to help out. Although this balanced out the forces, 2 more Ethiopians came and grew the force of Ethiopia. Most of the fighting took place in 2-3 plots, as joelover would toggle plot PvP on and off. Most people who participated in the skirmish wore Netherite Armor, whilst a few citizens of Joe Town wore low-level diamond/iron gear. The difference in gear lead to mostly one single person dying over 5 times in the 30 minutes the skirmish lasted.

Outcome
Nothing really came out of the skirmish, as its been said: "it’s a pointless skirmish" - ScipioLietuvas (8/18/21). After about 2 months, Joe Town fell and the region is now wilderness again.
