Eventually, the name evolved into a family, when the first [[Volkov Estate (Terra Nova)|Volkov Estate (TN)]] was constructed in April, 2021, in Montgomery (TN). The family's growth remained stagnant, for the most part, until late 2021 and early 2022, when more members were admitted. Among the first include [[Painted Indigo]] and [[Yoshi]].

When Terra Aurora opened, the Volkov Family followed. It created the town of Albany, in Indochina. On Terra Aurora however, it restructured itself to be a cartel-like organization, not belonging to any banner other than the Albany community.

== History ==
The Volkov Family has ties to central Russia, particularly in the region around City 17. The Volkov Family was nomadic and thinly-populated, with most of the possible ancestors being bastards. Upon Adrian Volkov I's coming of age, he worked as a sugar cane farmer in the area between City 17 and Tsetserleg, the capital of the Mongol Empire.
The Volkov Family came to prominence upon Adrian Volkov I's coming to America, where he settled in Philadelphia and worked as a salesman, selling merchandise obtained from town raids. He eventually became mayor of [[Albany]], [[New York]], where he worked until his retirement caused by a massive stroke. Adrian Volkov II was born sometime during Volkov I's mayorship. Adrian Volkov II is now the leader of the Volkov Family, due to Volkov I's death due to complications from a stroke.
On Christmas Day, 2021 the Volkov Family added two new members - Deathlife23 and Painted Indigo.
