Independence of KAPSK from Caesarea
The independence of KAPSK from Caesarea took place on the 24th March 2021 as a result of the King of Caesarea, Mzak1212, killing a citizen of the nation of Antarctica, an ally of KAPSK and close friend of the KAPSK leader, DiamantAxt9494. As a result, the leader of KAPSK announced they were leaving Caesarea in condemnation of this action.
Background
Mzak1212 would attempt to kill Sbagliare, a citizen of Antarctica, as a result of a misunderstanding over borders and the relations between their two nations. Antarctica, as a close ally of KAPSK, would inform DiamantAxt9494 about this incident.
After a small discussion, DiamantAxt9494 expressed concern about the incident in the Antarctician discord, eventually addressing these concerns in the announcement channel of the KAPSK discord, condemning the incident, calling the person in the attack a 'fine worker' and that DiamantAxt9494 didn't support 'this behaviour'.

5 minutes after condemning the actions of Mzak1212, DiamantAxt9494 would announce that they would be leaving Caesarea, saying 'I hereby announce that KAPSK will leave Caesarea. Glory to KAPSK and glory to EPRA!'. This was seen as KAPSK supporting EPRA (an Antarctician-based union led by Ionao, leader of the nation of Antarctica) in the incident prior.
Discussion about future relations
Throughout the period of the announcement and condemnation, there was discussion about future relations with Caesarea, with Ionao suggesting that peace would be impossible and there were problems in Africa causing this.
Aftermath
International reactions
Antarctica - Leader Ionao compared Mzak1212's actions to that of the Japanese invasion of Korea, Korea being a nation he formerly led.
Britain - Government Advisor MapleVK suggesting that entering diplomatic talks with Caesarea instead of leaving was a 'good idea', and that leaving without discussion with Mzak1212 was a 'bad idea'.- Error creating thumbnail: File with dimensions greater than 12.5 MPCaesarea - Leader Mzak1212 was contacted by Sirenderboy, and would proceed to apologise for the actions against the victim, offering 50g as reparations for any damage caused.
Nubia - Minister of Foreign Affairs gorkymoo1119 said that the incident was a result of a 'misunderstanding', saying Mzak1212 'didn't mean to hurt foreign affairs and relations'.

KAPSK Referendum
As a result of Caesarea as well as EPRA (including KAPSK) agreeing on the fact that KAPSK should be holding a referendum on whether KAPSK should stay in EPRA (whom they joined after Rigy seceded from KAPSK) or leave EPRA and rejoin Caesarea. Results were announced on April 8th 2021 at 4 PM CEST with the majority of the people (11:2) wanting to stay in EPRA.
