Republic of Vietnam
The Republic of Vietnam also known as the Provisional Government of Vietnam was an entity proclaimed in Vietnam at the end of the Siamese-Vietnamese War. It was created on 8 February 2020 after doct_fr was banned and the Communist Party of Vietnam collapsed.
History
After doct_fr was banned on 2 February 2020, the uncertainty of the nation's future caused Guyeeh and CestOMax to form a Provisional Government. They still remained at war with Siam and wanted to continue the negotiations for peace and eventually reached an agreement on 12 February. Siam began supporting the Provisional Government to help restore relations prior to the Siamese-Vietnamese War.
Unrecognized Government
With the nation not in control of either CestOMax or Guyeeh the nation, this caused a lack of authority and a period of inactivity after the war with Siam. The Provisional Government needed to wait until doct_fr's data wiped until they could be recognized ingame as the legitimate Government of Vietnam.
State of Vietnam Secedes
After the war with Siam, most of Vietnam fell into inactivity as there was no organization, this caused the population to decrease and towns to collapse. Seeing this, angry0kid, the Mayor of Nha Trang created the State Of Vietnam on 22 February.
This new nation caused the Republic of Vietnam, State Of Vietnam and Siam to come together and form the Tri-Pact alliance which aimed to establish good relations with one another and create a formal border agreement. This new pact was unsuccessful at creating good relations between the Republic of Vietnam and the State Of Vietnam as both sides wished to unite Vietnam under their individual Governments. Tension heightened because of this and State Of Vietnam propaganda pushing for unification almost pushed to two into conflict. Siam decided to not take sides with either of the two to hopefully maintain peace in the Indochinese Peninsula.
Becoming the Legitimate Government
On 18 March 2020, doct_fr's data was finally wiped but Valentin, doct_fr's successor was given the nation. Guyeeh was contacted by Valentin about being given the nation which he agreed to. Valentin eventually logged on 6 days after saying he would transfer the leadership and made CestOMax the Leader of Vietnam as he was already in Vinh whilst Guyeeh lived in West Vinh. The two were to lead the nation together after a vote.
Difficulties in the New Vietnam
Finally with control over the nation after a month, plans were made to rebuild the nation and increase population. These plans were made more difficult as Valentin took doct_fr's gold, which is estimated to be around 6,000 gold.
The Dissolution of the Republic of Vietnam
On 11 April 2020, with Guyeeh and CestOMax being burnt out on the server, they decided to sell the nation to Qql which at the time, they did not know was a high-ranking Japanese official who sought to bring Vietnam into the growing Japanese Empire. With the nation being sold, a new Colonial Administration was created which marked the end of the Provisional Government and the Republic of Vietnam and the beginning of the Empire of Vietnam.
