United Aurora Accord Information
The United Aurora Accord (Abbreviated as the UAA or just UAA) is an alliance founded on September 16th of 2024.
Main Goals
In the Articles of the Stipulations of the United Aurora Accord, the alliance's founding document 6 main goals are stated. These are some of the main goals of the UAA but not all. They are in no particular order, as follows:
- The sharing of skills between states - Member states are heavily encouraged to send members of their nation to other states, to help with their specific expertise
- Strengthening the bridge between continents - Often, nations separated by continents have an invisible wall between each other, The United Aurora Accord hopes to help to remove this wall
- Infrastructure - Something plentiful but often overlooked on EMC, The United Aurora Accord hopes to help each other develop innovative infrastructure both fun and useful
- Community - One of the most important aspects of EMC, The United Aurora Accord shall organize events to foster a stronger community and tourism between member states
- Economy - A skill quite hard to master on EMC, instead of regular shops The United Aurora Accord hopes to create unique types of services, encouraging tourism across nations.
- Freedom and democracy - Freedom and democracy is a key ideal to have, The United Aurora Accord hopes to help foster it in new places and maintain it in old
Governance
Global Council of Representatives
The Global Council of Representatives known as the GCR for short, is a council made up of 5 delegates from each member state (not including observers). These delegates are hand picked by their respective nation’s head of state and are able to be changed at any time. The GCR is responsible for the bills proposed within the Council Chambers, which is the name of the alliance’s legislative floor.
Delegate's Council
The Delegate's Council is made up of 10 members of each nation. 5 of these members are members of the GCR while the other 5 can be hand picked by the respective nation's head of state. The Delegate's Council, reserve the right to speak and view council channels but do not hold the right to vote on bills unless they are also a part of the GCR.
Prime Leaders Council
The Prime Leaders Council is made up of the leaders of each full member state and is a council dedicated to the discussion between nations. The Prime Leaders Council is able to propose bills in the Council Chambers but only the GCR can vote on them. Additionally, the Prime Leaders Council may veto bills in the Council Chambers regarding that at least 2 members of the Prime Leaders Council, of separate sovereign nations want to veto a bill. Lastly, the Prime Leaders Council can only veto legislative bills and cannot veto bills regarding members of the alliance leaving or joining.
Alliance Coordinator
The Alliance Coordinator is elected every 3 months by the GCR and is responsible for overseeing the alliance and acting as its face. The Alliance Coordinator makes the announcements on behalf of the nation and is the effective "leader" of the alliance.
Diplomatic Relations
Non Aggression Pact
Every member of the United Aurora Accord, including observers hold a non-aggression pact with each other as long as the members are apart of the alliance.
Mutual Defense Pact
As stated in the Articles of the Stipulations of the United Aurora Accord, "...Full member states of the UAA... shall reserve the right to call on mutual defense in the case of a defensive war. Stipulations for this include: This mutual defense article is not automatically activated and shall only be set in place if the nation at the heart of the defensive war calls upon it, this article only applies in the case of a defensive war meaning a nation can not call upon this article in the case of an offensive war, finally observer states are not tied to this article and are not required to act if the article is called upon. In the case of this article being activated, member states are required to help either by entering the war, sending soldiers, sending funds or helping in another apparent way."
Intelligence Sharing
Members of the UAA are heavily advised to share intelligence with each other may it be intelligence related to EMC update rumors, internal discourse, war or something else noteworthy. This aims to create more transparency within the alliance and strengthen member nation's bonds with each other.
