Manicouagan was a democratic republic on EarthMC Terra Aurora located in Canada and in proximity to the nations of Vermont and the former nation of Laurentia. On July 8th of 2024, former owner aTAboycARL gave the nation of Nunavik to MasterEWild. (Manicouagan/Nunavik peacefully broke away from Laurentia, nulling the Treaty of the Cities).
2.1
On May 6th, 2025, the Republic of Nunavik was 2.1d. 2.1 is the server rule which states that a nation must be named after a real place and the capital must be in that real place. Mods deemed that the Nunavik capital was not quite in the actual boundaries of Nunavik IRL, so renamed the nation to 2.1NotInNunavik. MasterEWild then opened a ticket with the mods and sent them a list of possible names to approve or deny. After a list was acquired, a bill was proposed in the Legislative Assembly to select a new name. The assembly voted for the name of Cree in a 3-2 vote. The mod handling the ticket then renamed the nation, but a staff manager deemed that the name Cree wasn't valid after the rename. Because of this, Nunavik (then Cree) held another vote and decided on the name of Manicouagan. All references of the name Nunavik in this article, with the exception of the ones in this section, the Treaty of the Cities Terms section and a few other places have been replaced with Manicouagan, regardless of whether or not the nation was named Manicouagan at the time of the event.
Merge
Wars
Wars
The Republic of Nunavik, since MasterEWild acquired the nation, has not participated in any wars thus far.
Since MasterEWild acquired the nation, the Republic of Manicouagan was in several wars.
Great Australian War
Manicouagan was in a war known as the Great Australian War. Manicouagan entered this war after the nation of NA called on mutual defense due to their membership in the Organization of Free Nations. The war was between mainly the OFN and Australia with Pilbara and Australia being the most prominent nations in the war. On April 12th, 2025, following Pilbara's departure from the OFN, the OFN pulled out of this war, making Manicouagan no longer at war with Australia.
Scandinavia War
From January 2nd, 2025 to February 1st, 2025, Manicouagan was also at war with Scandinavia due to the nation of Finnmark triggering the mutual defense clause of the OFN.
Savoie War
As of January 27th, 2025, following the passage of Assembly Bill #98, the Republic of Manicouagan declared war on the nation of Savoie, in support of their allies through the OFN.
Illinois War
On January 29th, 2025, due to the nation of Illinois overclaiming the capital of the MWU, Detroit, the Midwestern Union triggered article 5;2 of the Blue Codes (the OFN's mutual defense clause), putting all members of the OFN, including Manicouagan, at war with Illinois
Grant to BC
Though Manicouagan was never at war with Skeena, Assembly Bill #93 authorized a spending of 75 gold to Manicouagan allies, BC to fight against Skeena.
Government
Government
The Republic of Nunavik has several government positions, those being the President, the Executive Cabinet, the Legislative Assembly and the Supreme Court Justice. The position of President is an elected position with a vote held each month, the president is responsible for selecting an Executive Cabinet consisting of the Vice President (who takes over if the president is impeached, resigns or is otherwise unable to server), the Secretaries of State, defense, infrastructure, and engagement. The Legislative Assembly serves as the nation's legislature. Any citizen wanting to become part of the Legislative Assembly is able to become a part of it without need of a vote given they apply in the election/application period, the assembly is responsible for creating and voting on the nations' laws. Lastly, the Supreme Court Justice serves as the head of the court of law, if a citizen feels a law or the consitution has been violated they can bring the offender to court. It is the responsibility of the Supreme Court Justice (who is elected and then retained in the monthly elections) to handle the court case and resolve the matter. WIP
Manicouagan had many lively buildings, the following are just some of the government owned ones (all photo credit goes to Lyfty_X):
Future Plans
Spawn Building
Nunavik plans to farther expand, establish valuable allies and farther set democratic principles into stone
Right at /n spawn Manicouagan was a beautiful shop building made with walls of moss and green concrete powder, majestic deepslate pillars and a textured spruce roof. All these features and more make it an appealing spawn building for the nation.

Aurelian Archives
Within Fort Aurelian, the capital of Manicouagan there was a building known as the Aurelian Archives. MasterEWild commissioned spirtualmilk to create the building to display diverse history. The building serves as a museum of Fort Aurelian, cataloging its history and thus Manicouagan's history.

Laurentian Museum
In the capital of Manicouagan, Fort Aurelian, there was a museum dedicated to the former nation of Laurentia, striving to keep Laurentia's history alive.

Torngat Museum
The capital of Manicouagan also holds a museum dedicated to the history of the former nation of Torngat, Laurentia's ally. The museum had artifacts, books and maps found in the ruins of the capital of Torngat.

National Gear and Resource Reserve
Under the building holding the Laurentian Museum was the National Gear Reserve which holds gear given to Manicouagan residents for free if they meet certain requirements. To get down to the room, you must ride a redstone elevator. The same building also houses the National Resource Reserve, a similar program which holds resources like blocks and items instead of armor.

Fort Aurelian Underground
Though not a building, the capital of Manicouagan, Fort Aurelian contained a mystical and nature themed underground, adding to the town's overall atmosphere.
