Arizona is a nation in the southwestern US centered at the Grand Canyon. Arizona is a part of the Neo-Euphorian Empire with Nevada. It is also a part of the Gadsden Confederation with Sonora.

History

Founding

Arizona was founded on August 27th, 2022. It joined Panamerica and formed the Neo-Euphorian Empire with Nevada.

New Mexico

Prior to September 13th the New Mexican Empire and Arizona held the Treaty of Augustine, but Arizona believed it to be voided due to a 'collection of reasons.'

Gadsden Confederation

Arizona and Sonora formed the Gadsden Confederation to work on trade and the development of the region.

War with the USSR

Xyyz0 upon hearing of the founding of the USSR sanctioned all nations involved with it on the 7th of January. Two days later Arizona declared war on the USSR, with the goals of upholding the "Xyyz Doctrine" of containing the spread of communism to Asia. On the 16th the USSR and Arizona signed the Kramatorsk Treaty in which both nations recognize the claims and imperial ambitions of the other.
