Rajkot is a mid-sized town in the Terra Nova server, located on the Kathiawar Peninsula on the western coast of the Indian Subcontinent. It was initially a member of India, but since early 2020, it has belonged to the nation of Gujarat, and has remained under the same jurisdiction since. It has undergone four periods of activity (including three "revitalizations") and three periods of inactivity. It is currently in its third revitalization period, and travel conditions are relatively safe. It has had two mayors and at least two known councillors.

The history of the Kathiawar Peninsula before the founding of Rajkot is not well-documented. However, there is much evidence that suggests multiple settlements were established far earlier than Rajkot's inception. On the western cape of the peninsula rests an unnamed ruin, which may have been claimed at one point and is likely one of the youngest ruins on the peninsula, given its relatively pristine conditions over the years. Similarly, small fortified ruins lie near the center of the region, which have now been claimed by Rajkot.
Other small ruins slightly younger than Rajkot are scattered across the western bank, as well as a rectangular cobblestone wall surrounding an open field to the east. Screenshots of the dynmap dating as far back as October 20, 2019 reveal the still-unclaimed wooden walls, storage and farms constructed at the southern tip of the peninsula, which would later become the site of Rajkot's initial creation.

Rather, it was called "QuinnLand", and it was created by an unknown user on November 9, 2019. Upon establishment, the town immediately joined golden-age India, becoming the ninth town to do so. It was by no means a large town, as digital logs indicate that it spanned 20 chunks at most. The highest known record of QuinnLand's population was up to 14 residents, most of whom were inactive.

For months, there were no ice boat routes that connected it to the rest of the world, all of the town's valuables were locked away in an armory that was only accessible to town elites, building materials and food were scarce, and there were only a few basic structures that didn't fit properly into the chunk grid. The largest building at the time was a pig spawner farm built in the center of the town, and the entire property was surrounded in a great wooden wall that anyone could easily penetrate. This wall cut through the town center and housed a clearing for a small residential subdivision with a mine entrance.

Occasionally, residents would log in to build themselves a house, but the population continued to stagnate over a couple of months. At this point, both the original mayor of QuinnLand and almost every resident had been offline for more than seven weeks, causing an instantaneous drop in population. The title of mayor was automatically handed to the last person in the town who was active: Mapscientist.

He had very little experience or interest in the towny server at the time, as he primarily spent this period on EarthMC Factions. Precisely two months after joining for the first time, Map was invited to the town of QuinnLand, and joined out of curiosity around two days after the town was created. He would soon begin to excavate tunnels deep underground to prepare for ice network construction, and build himself a house while QuinnLand was slowly perishing. However, Map would be almost completely inactive on towny during the month of December. Upon joining the Indian Discord server, a vote was passed on New Year's Day to make him QuinnLand's senator. On the 11th of January, 2020, he would be surprised to find that he was now the official mayor of QuinnLand, and thus held full representation of the town in parliament.

After assuming the role of the new mayor, Mapscientist immediately began a project to entirely rebuild the town of QuinnLand. He believed that the walls around it inhibited the town's growth, and they reduced the quality of the town as a whole. Construction of ice highways to QuinnLand would continue, and some buildings would be torn down or remade. Some ideas would be kept, like the animal farm in the city's center, and even today, the stone bricks that covered the ground of the city center are still there. On top of all this, Map wanted to rename the city to be more geographically accurate, and the two best choices based on this factor were Diu and Rajkot. Because Rajkot was so close and is the largest city in the region, this name was settled on, and as of February 10, QuinnLand was no more. | After assuming the role of the new mayor, Mapscientist immediately began a project to entirely rebuild the town of QuinnLand. ==== Rajkot's Departure from India ==== | ==== Rajkot's Departure from India ====
Throughout the month of February 2020, the newly reformed Rajkot would continue to see little activity, but on the 29th, war between India and the Maurya Dynasty broke out. Battles took place in the nearby cities of Ahmedabad and Roruka. Fearing the conflict would approach Rajkot, Map closed the ice highways and erected new walls around the town, similarly to what QuinnLand did. Map participated in a small counteroffensive operation in Roruka with Ahmedabad mayor indian7p, but was killed in the altercation. No opposing soldiers entered Rajkot, though some came close to the town claims. As the conflict continued into March, some minor construction projects - such as the first bank in the town - were completed, though the bank in particular served to set the tone for new buildings to come. After the signing of the Treaty of Bhuj on March 10, the conflict was resolved, and Rajkot was no longer under threat.
After the India-Maurya Conflict, two events happened that caused Mapscientist to return to inactivity. The first occurred on the 17th, when his faction "BestKorea" would fall at the hands of MineTurtle795, who had already garnered a reputation for his malicious behavior. For weeks afterwards, Map refused to log into EarthMC. The second event happened on towny, when on the 27th, Emperor LordHashbrown would announce that he would sell the war-torn India, and use the funds to move to Australia. Days earlier, a nearby nation, Arabia, had been given to Yemen, who now owned India as well. Because India was beginning to fall apart, Chancellor Indian7p was gathering funds to buy Arabia himself. The day of Hashbrown's announcement, Indian privately asked Mapscientist to join him in his new nation, which he agreed to if the mayor was ever active in Rajkot again. By April 4, Hashbrown had sold India, and formed the nation of NorthAustralia. On April 11, Mapscientist would hand Rajkot to indian7p's Gujarat, becoming the nation's newest town.[[File:Rajkot Leaves India.png|center|thumb|690x690px|Mapscientist's announcement of Rajkot's admission to Gujarat. Mayor Mapscientist would hardly be active on EarthMC during the month of April 2020, both on Factions and Terra Nova, and Rajkot itself would see little change. As Prime Minister indian7p was building his nation and trying to increase Gujarat's population, the growth of Mapscientist's town remained stagnant during this period, which would continue well into mid-May. The end of this hiatus would arrive on the 18th, when Map began work on Rajkot's official ice highway station, and constructed the Bell Tower in the town's home chunk. The tower became Rajkot's tallest building yet, and was intended as a symbol of rebirth and transformation under Mapscientist's mayoral tenure.
| |||
Over the next month, Map would continue his streak of activity, and Rajkot itself would undergo rapid change, with major improvements in infrastructure and aesthetics. On the 20th, he offered to create a new official flag for the nation of Gujarat by using his prior experiences with banner vexillogy. Four drafts of the flag were introduced to Indian, but the one that stood out was the one that most closely resembled the historic flag of the Gujarat sultanate. This became the official flag of the Land of Gujarat.
The next target of reform was focused on infrastructure. The spawner farm was rebuilt the following day, as the old building was described by Map as "basically a stone brick cube with a giant window on it," and would not fit in with the rustic precedent set by the surrounding structures. This project allowed Map to gain favor among the other mayors. The next day, the town's first official street, Rajkot Road, and the iceway station, were completed with shops and access for "handicapped players".
==== navyaxD Joins Rajkot ====
As infrastructure enhancements continued, Mapscientist remained the only citizen of Rajkot, and with no players to help him maintain a cash flow, he sought to expand trade into other nations by buying shops and properties. Luckily, soon after he entered the real estate market, he was approached via message from none other than Austrian resident navyaxD, offering to sell Map a small vacant shop plot in his hometown of Klagenfurt. In exchange, on the 25th of May, Navya agreed to aid Map with construction projects in Rajkot. Mistaking Navya as a female moderator of the server and seeing him as a potentially lucrative business partner, Mapscientist welcomed him into the town. Two days later, navyaxD fully moved in & became a permanent Gujarati resident.
To this day, May 27, 2020 is likely the single most eventful day in Rajkot history. Upon joining, navyaxD immediately requested to be made councillor. This being Mapscientist's first experience being someone else's mayor, he was unsure of whether he could trust Navya with that much power, especially since the fall of BestKorea was still fresh in his mind. However, after some convincing, he agreed to make Navya his second-in-command, granting him near total control over the town. The councillor began putting his building skills into practice right away, constructing several new buildings and homes; some of which still stand today. It appeared that making Navya councillor was an excellent decision for the town, but building initiative isn't all he would need to prove his loyalty to Rajkot, and this would be tested & proven the very same day.
===== Siege of IamSen233 & Mumbai =====
| |||
Despite the initial promise of Navya's work in Rajkot, his diligence wasn't the only thing that was carried over from his life in Austria. His past quarrels with Xia resident IamSen233 continued to follow him to his new home. After becoming councillor, he warned mayor Mapscientist about the looming threat of inbound "Chinese barbarians," and that Sen told him directly, "your city wont exist anymore." Though the two took this threat gravely, Navya reassured Map of his PVP expertise, and began preparations to defend the town from invaders. After Sen was caught scoping out Ahmedabad and sneaking into Rajkot, some allies of his attempted to siege, but were met with fierce resistance from Navya.
After some time, Sen challenged Navya and Map to face him alone in Mumbai. They complied with this demand, and traveled to the north side of the city to build a stone battlement. Once completed, Map stocked the two up on strength potions and food, while Navya stood guard on the platform. Eventually, Sen arrived in Mumbai, and a long battle ensued. Over the course of the fight, Mapscientist made it apparent that he was the weaker PVPer of the two Gujaratis, allowing Sen to focus and successfully eliminate him before moving on to Navya. As Map gathered more gear and set back out to Mumbai, Navya made quick work of Sen, nearly killing him before Map could arrive with more gear, and forcing him to surrender. After his defeat, Sen vowed to return to Rajkot to finish them off, but this deed was ultimately never carried out. To the welcome surprise of some, IamSen233 would be IP-banned from EarthMC after spawn-trapping in Xia on the 3rd of July, but unbanned the 31st.
In the week-long period between the 27th of May and the 3rd of June, more infrastructure development projects started within the town. Le Tour de Noir, a wooden structure built just outside the walls of the City Center, was constructed by Navya, becoming Rajkot's new tallest building, standing modestly at 31.5 blocks tall. On June 2, a plot was cleared out to prepare for the construction of the town's upcoming bank next to the tower. The old bank, now rebranded as the Casa de Mocha, would be repurposed for housing, and the new bank would be larger and more refined in aesthetic.
==== Rajkot vs. Kraftier ====
| |||
In this early stage of Gujarat's history, the nation belonged to the Yemen Empire, who was in the middle of a conflict against a recently-reunified Nubia, along with their Ethiopian partners. On June 1, a bombing raid was carried out on the Nubian town of Kraftier by the creators of the Gayfish collection. Councillor navyaxD, wanting to support a personal ally living in Kraftier, temporarily moved to this location the following day. He, with the help of native resident LumpyOctopusX99, set up a small "armory" in the town, which acted as an unsanctioned Gujarati embassy-base to conduct reparations and humanitarian aid after the bombing. Mapscientist would visit this armory, where he would log off for the day. The next morning, Map would return at his councillor's request to let him join back into Rajkot, but upon entering the server, noticed that the Gujaratis were evicted from their plot, and was killed by a player of unknown allegiance. As a result, Lumpy, Navya, and Mapscientist agreed to lay siege on Kraftier on the basis of their role in the Yemen-Nubia Conflict, making Lumpy a traitor to both Nubia & Ethiopia, and an agent of Yemen.
While Map and Navya attacked mayor kobiKraft head-on, Lumpy stayed on the sidelines to stand guard. After some time, a freshly-geared Nopnop100 joined the fray, nearly killing Map before he and Navya exhausted their food supplies and retreated. Lumpy would go on to attack an Ethiopian resident in the Skirmish of New Gondar, avoiding further altercations in Kraftier with Gayfish collectors, but was killed by another Ethiopian regardless due to a lack of enchanted gear. This event sparked open conflict between Nubia and Ethiopia, further complicating their relationship.

Later that day, some Nubian forces would gather to return fire upon Rajkot. Three unknown players arrived on the Rajkot shoreline, ready to take revenge. However, despite the fact that Map had logged off for the night, Navya & Lumpy managed to hold their own, and ward off the invaders. Soon after this battle, a peace agreement between Kraftier & Rajkot was signed by Navya and Kobi, and over the next week, the Rajkot government would return to make amends and help rebuild once again, even to the dismay of other Nubians.

=== The First Revitalization of Rajkot ===
| |||
As the nation's previous conflicts were beginning to close and new services were beginning to open, the stage was being set for a grand return to Rajkot's former glory as a population center in India. On the fifth of June, the Bank of Rajkot was officially complete and open to the public. It was intended to be Mapscientist's best build to date, and it stood out as one of the largest single-plot structures in town. In addition, due to funding from foreign investments and nation bonus increases, Rajkot was finally able to expand northward towards the center of the peninsula, making space for further road construction and housing.
While the city was beginning to undergo rapid change, Rajkot itself was still rather sparse in population, having upwards of only three residents by the 8th. Player Ferkio was the first to join since councillor navyaxD's introduction. Mapscientist's own recruitment efforts had proven extremely difficult, given the first-come-first-serve climate of Nova's townless player market. However, Navya soon began work on a new housing & recruitment initiative to help retain new residents. He would build simple houses out of affordable materials and sell them to new residents at low costs, while supplying them with fresh gear and food -- so long as they were available. This practice would become commonplace in Rajkot for years to come.
==== Tensions with Sri Lanka ====
Even as Navya's recruitment efforts continued to succeed well into July, the town was still lacking in funds, and claim expansion was slow. On the 10th, Navya received a tempting offer to buy the much-larger nearby city of Mumbai from Sri Lankan mayor UghBraces, who was growing disinterested with his position. Accepting this deal would force Navya to move out of Rajkot, and town recruitment would likely cease. Ugh also asked that Mumbai not defect to Gujarat, as doing so would upset their agreement, even though Gujarat was recognized as a province of Sri Lanka. Due to an ongoing debate between Sri Lanka and Gujarat regarding the ownership of Latur, Navya favored against augmenting the empire further, and thus declined the offer. However, this deal would not close completely, and while Ugh continued to search for buyers, Navya kept the idea in mind.
Two days after Ugh's offer, small progress was made to extend the road system. To aid Rajkot's stagnating sprawl, President Indian7p offered to invest in Rajkot's growth by paying for 9 extra chunks in the north side. There, he built the "7 Wonders" park, where he planned to terraform an enclosed area that would be surrounded by shops. Next to this, a Reliance Bank location was established, becoming one of the largest structures in the town by chunk cover. This contribution would be a relatively major step in the town's growth, allowing more space for residents to buy and occupy plots.
The very same day though, Navya would encounter a player & German official by the name of SerHugeNuts. Germany, which Navya had close ties to since before he joined Rajkot, was planning to leave the European Union. Navya believed it was in their better interest to stay, and thus paid SerHugeNuts 500 gold to do so. However, after the payment went through, Germany proceeded to leave the Union anyway. It was found that UghBraces had connections to the player, but refused to recover the money when Navya attempted to contact him regarding the scam. Navya's trust in the empire was quickly sinking to a new low, and this was not helped by Neu Frankfurt defecting to Sri Lanka.
==== Expansion Continues ====
Upon learning about Navya's situation, Mapscientist would criticize him for his decision-making and asked him to retrieve the gold so it could be used for Rajkot's development instead. In response, Navya agreed to another foreign deal, whereby he would be paid 250 gold to join Nashville. Once he did so, he would be allowed back into Rajkot, and he planned to use this gold to buy Mumbai and defect back to Gujarat. Though this would not be ideal for recruitment in Rajkot, doing so would allow Gujarat to advance further, which was acceptable to Map.
| |||
By the 13th of July, Rajkot had 10 residents, with Ferkio and Alie14 appointed as builders. Having half the total population of Gujarat, it was seen as a major town in the nation, despite only having 44 chunks claimed. In the following day, an additional two residents joined. Although recruitment was slow and steady, the need for an expansion plan was becoming more apparent. A small road map for future Rajkot claims was drafted by Mapscientist and discussed with navyaxD. Navya had previously floated an idea of a Gujarat-themed store called "GMart," but this idea was expanded upon with the proposal of a large shopping center on the west side. Ex-Prime Minister zThunder7 offered to build a tower in the City Center as well.
| |||
After Sri Lankan emperors Samisol & UghToop were banned from EarthMC, UghBraces found himself the new head of his empire, but rather than stay at the top, he chose to sell the nation of Sri Lanka and the city of Kandy. Following this decision, Gujarat left the Sri Lankan empire. Later that day, a small sandstone staircase above a disturbed section of land, as well as trails of dirt and empty boats were spotted north and west of Rajkot, and it was initially believed to have been UghBraces's doing. However, after some debate, Navya suggested that it must've been the result of a small conflict with the Maldives after Gujarat left Yemen. Though these changes were minor, it was enough to inspire paranoia, and they were reported on the official announcements board. Even today, it is unclear who exactly was at fault.
==== An Uncertain Future ====
After some negotiations, navyaxD left Rajkot and joined Nashville on the 20th, in the hopes of profiting and making up for his lost gold. However, soon after doing this, indian7p was banned from EarthMC, who appointed Navya as Emergency President and Mapscientist as a cabinet member. Five days later, Navya turned Nashville over to Gujarat as a colony, but was attacked by California leader Gawker for doing so. After surviving this attack, Navya left Nashville and rejoined Rajkot, which was still indecisive about what to do with the minor proximity griefs to the north. All builds outside of claims would be demolished, but recruitment & construction would continue within claims.
| |||
On August 7, 18 days after he was banned, indian7p would announce via the Gujarat discord about the status of his ban. He began by suspending the government until the 31st, and predicted two outcomes. If he was unbanned before September, Gujarat would run like normal afterwards; but if not, there would be two candidates for potential presidents. umball1082, a fellow Ahmedabad resident, was one candidate, and if he had been chosen, then Gujarat's capital city wouldn't change. The other candidate was Mapscientist, and if he was chosen, the capital would switch to Rajkot. Rajkot itself was not the largest town by size, nor was it built to be a capital, and if this responsibility was thrust on it, major changes would be required for it to hold up as a suitable n-spawn.
==== Recruitment Overdrive ====
| |||
Fortunately, after Indian's ban, Rajkot would see itself grow into a local city of its own right, almost rivalling Ahmedabad in size and vastly outnumbering it in population. Though a handful of residents had left due to inactivity, Rajkot now held the majority of Gujarat's population. Mapscientist would tell navyaxD about his vision of a true metropolis, the likes of which had rarely, if ever, been seen in India before. A second more-detailed plan was drafted by Map, showing how the surrounding land will be used, if claimed. Though it only had 57 chunks and 9 residents, it became clear that an ambition was showing.
On the 9th of August, two days after Map shared his vision with Navya, the both of them got to work on making it come true. Map removed the announcements board, which blocked the t-spawn from the ocean, and began using the Gujarat discord server for town announcements instead. zThunder7's tower was completed on the 11th, making it the tallest structure within claims. By the time this was achieved, Rajkot had doubled its population, breaking its previous 14-resident record. Two days later, Navya's Falcon Markets project was also complete, and residents could buy a shop plot and set up their own store in town. On the 14th, the Museum of Rajkot suffered a robbery, though it is unknown how or by whom. In response, he Historical Society of EarthMC offered Navya compensation to repair the damage and replace stolen artifacts. Three days later, the city had grown to 26 residents, enough to increase the nation bonus and surpass Yemen's population.
As Rajkot continued to reach all-time heights of size, population and activity, Ahmedabad appeared frozen in the wake of indian7p's absence. On the 18th, Indian contacted umball1082 and asked him to appoint Navya and Map as chancellors, fearing he may not be unbanned in time to hand anyone the presidency. At the same time, Rajkot cleared 31 residents, officially being titled a "metropolis" for the first time in its history. Two days later, Indian received word from moderators that he would be unbanned within 7 days, and although it meant Navya would no longer be president and Rajkot could not become the capital, the news was celebrated by many in Gujarat. By this point, the city had expanded to 74 chunks, larger than Ahmedabad, and because its citizenry had expanded so much in august, Indian agreed to host a special election to determine a new member of parliament.
==== Recession ==== | |||
| |||
As the influx of new residents brought in active builders, the need for more high-quality builds was front and center. The building skill of certain citizens did not go unnoticed, and it was believed they should be rewarded for their efforts. Mapscientist and navyaxD agreed to host their own "Trusted Election," in which the winner would receive the "trusted" rank, allowing them to build on private land. However, this process would be interrupted, as some builders either became inactive or left for other towns before the election could take place. Due to this interruption, player Noaboat would be appointed by navyaxD as Trusted in lieu of an election. On August 22, Navya would finally strike a deal to purchase Mumbai, and after this was complete, he moved out of Rajkot and officially joined his new city as its mayor. His first act as mayor was joining Gujarat, making his town the largest in the nation by size. Scraniel, another skilled builder, removed his home in Rajkot and followed suit.
Upon logging in, Navya & Map noticed that many of the valuable items, blocks, and gold in the city center were missing. Premium heads and spawners were notably absent from the museum and farms. Suspiciously, Noaboat had also left town to make his own, less than a day after being given the Trusted rank. He was also seen in chat by Map selling the spawners and heads that were stolen from Rajkot. The two traveled by boat to Ponta Deleganda, the small island town Noaboat set up in the Atlantic, in the hopes of exacting revenge and recovering the stolen goods. While a sneak attack was underway, Noaboat left the server before combat could begin, and the items were never recovered. An announcement about the situation was posted to the Rajkot Board on discord, stating that Noaboat had been outlawed, and to report his location should he reappear. indian7p issued a two-day lockdown order on Rajkot, and residents without perms could no longer access public facilities. No new residents would be added, but claims would be increased to 78 chunks.
For the remainder of August and September, Rajkot would steadily decline in population and activity. Claim area surpassed 80 chunks on the 6th, but little work would be done inside those claims. It seemed that the revitalization of Rajkot was officially over, and the city would return to a dormant state. The once-busy streets were now abandoned and cold, just as they were in QuinnLand. On October 1, Mapscientist would implicitly declare Rajkot a dead town with the following statement:

Despite condolences from the cabinet, for the rest of October, Rajkot remained largely dormant. However, on the 21st, Prime Minister InfiniteTapWater abdicated his position and handed it to his "successor," the then-Foreign-Affairs-Minister and cabinet member Mapscientist. Map's time as Prime Minister was brief, lasting until the following election just ten days later, and no legislation was passed under his authority. This period of dormancy would continue until late November, when Map would regain his interest in the server.

Starting in the final days of November 2020, mayor Mapscientist began making small aesthetic improvements to Rajkot. While most of the improvements were done to "touch up" on details to make Rajkot more inviting to guests, Map was also gathering the funds and resources to add the first beacon to the town; an important step in development.

Overview
Rajkot is a mid-sized town in the Terra Nova server, located on the Kathiawar Peninsula on the western coast of the Indian Subcontinent. It was initially a member of India, but since early 2020, it has belonged to the nation of Gujarat, and has remained under the same jurisdiction since. It has undergone four periods of activity (including three "revitalizations") and three periods of inactivity. It is currently in its third revitalization period, and travel conditions are relatively safe. It has had two mayors and at least two known councillors.
History
Pre-Rajkot Kathiawar
Rajkot Under Socialist India
QuinnLand
Before February 2020, Rajkot was not known by this name.
Throughout its existence, QuinnLand was by far one of the most underdeveloped sites in all of India.
For this reason, most of the town refused to go online, ending QuinnLand's first chance of becoming a fruitful city.
Mapscientist was a new player who had joined EarthMC on September 11, 2019.
QuinnLand's Complete Reformation
Rajkot's Departure from India
On April 11, Mapscientist would hand Rajkot to indian7p's Gujarat, becoming the nation's newest town.
Rajkot Under Infant Gujarat
Siege of IamSen233 & Mumbai
Rajkot vs. Kraftier
The First Revitalization of Rajkot
Tensions with Sri Lanka
Expansion Continues
Upon learning about Navya's situation, Mapscientist would criticize him for his decision-making and asked him to retrieve the gold so it could be used for Rajkot's development instead. In response, Navya agreed to another foreign deal, whereby he would be paid 250 gold to join Nashville. Once he did so, he would be allowed back into Rajkot, and he planned to use this gold to buy Mumbai and defect back to Gujarat. Though this would not be ideal for recruitment in Rajkot, doing so would allow Gujarat to advance further, which was acceptable to Map.
An Uncertain Future
Recruitment Overdrive
Recession
The Second Revitalization of Rajkot
Starting in the final days of November 2020, mayor Mapscientist began making small aesthetic improvements to Rajkot. Hoping to overcome the loss of navyaxD's recruitment effort, he occasionally invited new residents to the town as well. On the fifth of December, Map made an announcement regarding the changes being made around town, and offered to invite any ex-residents back in. While most of the improvements were done to "touch up" on details to make Rajkot more inviting to guests, Map was also gathering the funds and resources to add the first beacon to the town; an important step in development.
The Search for the Missing Mayor
At the core of Rajkot's beginnings lies an impossible mystery. The town's conception is almost entirely unknowable, as there is virtually no written or photographic record of the first weeks that happened at this location. The one and only player who was active during this early stage of Rajkot's development who continues to play EMC is current mayor Mapscientist, who has been on the hunt for information on this topic. None of the other 13 original members of the QuinnLand settlement have been identified or contacted, including the previous mayor prior to Mapscientist.
Here is the data we know as fact so far:
- By October 20, 2019, the QuinnLand walls, armory, and farms had already been built; by whom is unclear.
- QuinnLand was founded on November 9, 2019.
- On December 1, Mapscientist became the only QuinnLand known resident to join the India Discord server.
- Until December 4, QuinnLand had no connecting ice highways or stations.
- Prior to indian7p's completion of IH07 on that date, player Fuhns oversaw highway construction, but it is currently unclear what his connection was to QuinnLand. This account exists, but its namemc.com profile was never claimed.
- From December 4 to January 11, Mapscientist was entirely unaware of any changes in QuinnLand's ownership.
- By December 22, QuinnLand had 14 residents and 16 chunks.

- It is unknown if Rajkot's first mayor has access to any social media platforms, including Discord.
- The mayor's player data has been wiped at least once, and cannot be tracked through commands, moderator support, or bots.
- Blocks placed by the mayor no longer have data on the mayor, due to their accounts being wiped from EarthMC's database.
- The meatball3210 Minecraft account exists, but its namemc.com profile was never claimed.
The following is either conjecture based on memory, or can be inferred based on historical evidence:
- Rajkot's first mayor most likely created the town itself.
- The mayor has most likely never joined the India discord server.
- The mayor's username is presumed to be "meatball3210", but this has yet to be substantiated and may be incorrect.
- Fuhns may have never visited QuinnLand or worked on its ice roads
