The idea of Acadia first came to fruition when a group of players including Ahea, Farosh, Dracnoian, and others (commonly referred to as "Arcadians" in Terra Aurora, and mainly consisting of people from Havaiki and Vermont) wanted to cooperate and make a nation on Terra Nostra.
