MagOwOr
magOwOr is a player who first joined EarthMC sometime in November 2019. At the time, she was young and not yet confident in English, and she left not long after without making much of a mark. She returned in early March 2022 and has remained active ever since. On March 4th of that year, she was invited by _SiiMP_ into the town of Yorkshire, Britain, which marked the true beginning of her time on the server.
The Britain Era
Joining Yorkshire under the name EndyIsCool, magOwOr was given a plot in the northern part of the town. There, she restored a demolished house and constructed a Kirby-themed hot air balloon known as The Lor Starcutter. The plot still exists today, though it is no longer under her ownership, a quote from Back to the Future, written on a sign inside the house, remains to this day. Before leaving Yorkshire, she composed a note-block arrangement of The Song of Storms from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in the basement of the Lor Starcutter plot.
Shortly after, Britain was disbanded.
The Welsh Era
The disbandment was not entirely straightforward. A player by the name of Cripto_tv was responsible for severing every alliance and removing every town from the nation, leaving Yorkshire without national affiliation and cut off from its former connections. Taking the opportunity, magOwOr reached out to RoseBrugs, leader of Wales, and secured an embassy plot, relocating all of her belongings there.
She made an attempt to bring the Lor Starcutter along with her. The original balloon did not survive the move intact, but a second permanent balloon was erected in Wales and remains standing to this day.
She expanded to three plots and built a nether-themed underground bunker, the Space Needle (a rocket), and a Mario-themed flying block parkour. As she settled in and grew closer to Welsh nobility, life on the server was going well, until rumours of a map reset began to circulate.
The Shetlands Era
magOwOr was firmly opposed to a full map reset, advocating instead for a Nether Reset, though she was ultimately unable to change the outcome. In the meantime, she successfully negotiated Yorkshire's entry into the Welsh Realm, a notable diplomatic achievement. On April 1st, her birthday, her friend rcvq (then known as LilyBrugs) gifted her a Kirby head, a gesture she has never forgotten.
Roughly a month later, the town of Connery on the Shetlands collapsed. RoseBrugs offered the territory to magOwOr, who accepted without hesitation. The town was claimed by MaddieMao under the name Ceto, and once magOwOr had accumulated enough gold, it was renamed IceCreamIsland.
Between April 27th and May 2nd, she undertook an extensive rebuilding effort: a new Town Hall, the first-ever MagoShop, repairs to the WaleShip (a large Quinjet-inspired vessel), repairs to the CrazyMarCraft Manor a fully maxed 2×2 diamond beacon named the BlueSoup (in reference to a friend who turned out to be an abuser), a 14×16 block farm, a bank, a port, and several embassies. On April 28th, she built a memorial dedicated to her friend SuperJosh0, who had left EarthMC earlier. On May 1st, she redesigned the town pond and planted a large beehive jungle tree beside it. On May 5th, Deklokis8 established the Embassy of Kemet in IceCreamIsland.
On the night of May 14th, a player named Fearug griefed the town in its entirety, looting 95% of the chests, stealing the beacon, destroying the memorial, killing all the bees, and damaging the WaleShip's reactors. Only the embassies and MagoShop were left unharmed. The following day, Coblobster assisted with a rollback and magOwOr rebuilt the majority of the town. On June 3rd, she completed a beach and the Wales Colosseum.
Switzerland & Iceland - The Start of Aurora
Running parallel to the events on Nova, magOwOr began her Aurora journey on May 16th 2022, the day after the town backup. She started in Bern, Switzerland, but found little to engage with there and soon relocated to Reykjavik, then to Akureyri, Iceland. There she built her first house, acquired two pet parrots brought from Madagascar, and housed five villagers, under conditions that were, by most accounts, not ideal for the villagers. She also built a windmill and a park, the latter of which was later demolished.
Her first head purchase on Aurora was a French flag.
The Victorian & The Australian Era
On October 1st 2022, having 42 dayed on Aurora, magOwOr joined Victoria. She became politically active quickly, taking part in a local political party as an incidis, functioning in an intelligence-gathering capacity. By early November she had been appointed Mayor of Genève, begun developing the builds of the nearby town of Wilcannia, refining her signature feudal Japanese building style she would use in Boreapolis and Saint-Denis, over 4 years later.
Finding the political climate in Victoria too focused on interpersonal drama, she departed on January 27th 2023 and joined the Australian meganation by moving in EmuPoint, WA. The following day she founded Boreapolis, which would become her longest-standing town, remaining active through to the end of Aurora, sustained by Hetu11 and 8Steinder in her absence.
magOwOr became a well-regarded member of the Australian community, serving as minister and/or deputy on more than seven occasions, participating in parliament for nearly the entirety of her time there, and attaining the status of honorary royalty in Yugoslavia in April 2023.
Between August 24th 2023 and November 11th 2023, magOwOr's account was compromised by an unauthorised party, preventing her from accessing EarthMC during that period. She joined back just at the start of the first Pilbaro-Australian war.
She took part in all of the Pilbaro-Australian Wars, mainly as a spy from mid-November to late December 2023, until a ratified treaty outted her, and later as a diplomat. On January 1st 2024, she negotiated a local treaty, the only one of its kind during the conflict, which protected the building interests of both Boreapolis and Pilbara. On February 26th 2024, she erected a small monument to commemorate the resulting peace between the two sides.
On January 30th 2025, magOwOr chose to leave Australia. The political situation had grown stagnant, and the Great Pilbaro-Australian War showed no signs of resolution before the server's eventual end. She briefly joined the Philippines in early March, which was being rebuilt by bubisen and fabinosen, but her commitment to her IRL life (start of university) made sustained activity impossible. Feeling she had not held up her end of the commitment, she chose to leave. In June 2025, she joined 4Cinna in Vermont as Mayor of Hamilton.
The Nubian Era - The Noobian Deepstate
On July 3rd 2025, magOwOr claimed the recently fallen Comoros, beginning with Mayotte, a French overseas territory, and joined Nubia by founding the town of Blåhaj. On the same day, she joined the Staff Team as a Helper. The town developed rapidly, though tensions emerged due to the Comoros being regarded as Malagasy territory. In her capacity as Nubia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, magOwOr managed the situation diplomatically and brought the dispute to a peaceful resolution.
On November 10th 2025, she was promoted to Moderator within the Staff Team.
Between July 2025 and March 2026, she contributed extensively to what would become the Nubian capital, completing builds including the Z.R. Blåhaj, the Canard Volant, the Requin Bleu, the Z.R. Meroe, the Coq Volant, a Steampunk building, a Cat Café, Blåhaj St., and others.
Blåhaj remained her town until the server reset of May 1st 2026.
The Mascareignes Era & The Start of Nostra
As Nostra launched, magOwOr received several offers from established nations: Switzerland proposed she serve as Governor of Valais, and Aquitaine offered her the position of Mayor of Toulon. She gave both serious consideration before ultimately deciding to forge her own path. She founded Saint-Denis on the island of La Réunion, a French overseas territory, establishing it as the capital of the soon-to-be-created Mascareignes nation.
Between April and May 2026, she began developing the capital of Lake Victoria, completing builds including the Spawn Cupola, the Observatory, the Café, and more.
Trivia
Shortly after the founding of Saint-Denis, magOwOr received two death threats from another player who had intended to claim La Réunion for themselves. The threats were directed at her in response to the town's establishment on the island, which the offending party considered their own territory. magOwOr did not care about these and made fun of the player for their poor grammar skills.
