Tijuana was a town on Terra Aurora in the Baja California region. It was situated on the North shore of the Gulf of California. The town usually had one population but during it's height had 2 population. The town was established on 13 June 2022 and was disbanded on 7 March 2023, lasting for 264 days.

History

Early History

Early planning for Tijuana began shortly following when BetaPlain migrated to Terra Aurora on 13 June 2022. BetaPlain began travelling to North America before finally making contact with player LawOfRence via messaging, before migrating the conversation to discord. BetaPlain was unsure about the location of his new town, but was sure he would create a town on a shoreline.

During their conversations, BetaPlain and LawOfRence decided on a final place to create the town of Tijuana, in Northern Baja California. The town's borders would represent the real-life US-Mexico border, and Tijuana would be present on two coastlines.

BetaPlain's chief goal for the town was to achieve a large population, create a shopping district, and create a new nation, similar to his plans for Newburn, his town on Terra Nova. LawOfRence verified the Tijuana's future claims with other Californian towns and verified that the plans would not intercept with other town's plans.

The town's name was chosen based off the future plans for the town to expand Westward into real life Tijuana.

Founding the Town

After planning had finished and a location had been decided, BetaPlain made the decision to start the town on the North shore of the Gulf of California, believing that he would claim Westward when more gold had been deposited into the town bank.

Although BetaPlain had voted, 64 gold had not been acquired yet.

As you can see, it looks relatively neat when there is enough text in each subdivision, so this is the recommended route to take.

Buildings

This can also be named Architecture/World wonders/whatever. This will be required for new wiki pages on towns as it will give readers a better idea of the town they are looking at and to show some achievements of the town. Buildings do not have to have any standards to be shown, literally just wilderness can be shown if the town is just wilderness, but something must be shown.

Notable People

This is a required field to detail important members of the town historically or currently, so it's easier to tell which people are in which area and to get a better idea of the region. This can be organized in a list, for example:

City Subdivisions

This isn't required but is a good idea to help add space and add meat to your article, mostly for larger cities. This refers to neighborhoods, outposts, or other smaller sections of a town that can be described individually. This IS optional however. This is specified so it's more clear, for example you could have a subdivision for each neighborhood or outpost. Generally it's at your discretion.
