Battle of Addis Ababa
The Battle of Addis Ababa (also known as the Lion of Judah Battle) was a battle that took place on the 9th of July 2020, lasting around 30 minutes. This battle was fought in relation to the war of Ethiopian Independence.
Before the Battle
Lead up
Before the battle took place, Ethiopian forces had been attacking Nubian citizens in response to being attacked by Nubian forces at one of the many raids on Kraftier. In retaliation, Nubia placed the town of Aniba, south of Addis Ababa. Upon logging on and seeing this, JackJackson messaged the other Ethiopians to attack the town.

JackJackson made his way down to the town and attacked twomoo1119 who was supervising it's creation. The mayor of Aniba and Twomoo1119 attacked Jackson forcing him to retreat back to Addis Ababa.

The Battle of the Lion of Judah
Following the attack, Twomoo called for reinforcements. Around 6 Nubians arrived at Addis Ababa to fight. In that time Recruit4Days and John_of_Aus logged on to the defend the city. Deciding that fighting outside of claims would lead to defeat, pvp was toggled in the plots around the Lion of Judah. With the fight still on-going, and no deaths on each side, JackJackson asked UghBraces for assistance to come help fight the Nubians. With the Nubians not killing any of the Ethiopians, they started to try and lure the them out of claims. As this happened, UghBraces arrived causing them to retreat.
Aftermath
Immediate Aftermath
The immediate aftermath of the battle was celebration on the Ethiopian side. With the news spreading to the other Ethiopians soon after, a party was held in the Ethiopian discord. This celebration wouldn't last forever as the Battle of Aniba would occur afterwards where Recruit4Days would be killed by a Neutral. This put a damper on the mood but as many Ethiopian Crown Members said, "Could have been worst, you could of died to a Nubian."
Legacy in Ethiopia
The battle is now a day of national pride in Ethiopia. It is seen as the day Ethiopia took a nation nearly 50 times it's size and won. Multiple memes and propaganda pieces had been created because of what took place. With the phrase, "When you lose to a nation 50 times smaller than you" becoming a popular insult against Nubia.
