December 18, 2022 Cascadia general election
General elections were held on 18 December 2022 in Cascadia to elect the President of Cascadia and all seventeen seats in the House of Representatives for one‑month terms, an increase of two seats from the previous fifteen contested in the last election. These were the fifth elections to be held in Cascadia. The first election for the newly created Public Advocate of Cascadia was also held on this date in conjunction with the presidential and legislative contests.
Presidential election
General elections were held on 18 December 2022 to elect the President of Cascadia for a one‑month term. The election marked the first major competitive presidential contest after incumbent President ViolentVampire decided not to seek a fourth term. Five candidates contested the presidency, each running with a nominated Vice‑President:
- TylenolEC (Vice‑President: ViolentVampire), incumbent Secretary of State
- EstiQT (Vice‑President: ViolentVampire), incumbent Secretary of Recruitment and former first Vice President of Cascadia
- Bachinuni (Vice‑President: ViolentVampire), incumbent Secretary of Defense
- Cowilo (Vice‑President: Moxies_Hoe)
- xKoniac (Vice‑President: ViolentVampire), general secretary of the Cascadian Communist Party and incumbent member of the House of Representatives for South Metropolitan
The President of Cascadia is elected by instant‑runoff voting, with votes redistributed from eliminated candidates until one candidate achieves an absolute majority.

Seventeen seats in the Cascadia House of Representatives were up for election across the four constituencies: Frontier, Oregon, North Coast, and the newly created Central. The electoral system used was the same single transferable vote (STV) method as in the November 2022 election.
North Coast House election (STV)
The North Coast constituency returned five members to the House of Representatives. The total number of votes was 22, with a quota of 3.6667.
