This is the page to outline the continuation of Eras on Terra Aurora. It is incomplete.

What are Eras?

Eras are a way to categorise a general history of the Server, over the 9 years it has been online. The early years aren't well documented, but Terra Nova was well documented and it resulted in a thriving set of pages that would suck in would be readers for hours, looking at events and clicking on those links, finding new pages and getting an idea of what the server prides itself on, geopolitics.

The New Aurora Eras

After a forum post on the EMC Discord server, the EMC Wiki Staff Team have decided on these Eras and timeframes.

This Era was the short time when only Premium players were let into Aurora to play.

  • Dawn Era The 14th of May 2022 until the 27th of August 2022.

This Era was when normal players were allowed into Aurora and claims were made in the most contested areas.

The Era where once people had solidified many of their claims, they began building things such as Infrastructure, Farms and Great Buildings.

This Era is characterised by a large downturn in activity once Fix mentioned the idea of Overclaim to the Premium chat in the EMC Discord.

  • Grace Era The 1st of October 2023 until present.

This Era is characterised by large claim owners who had little to no hope of holding their land, subdividing their land or completely unclaiming. This was after the Grace Period was announced and overclaim became a reality. This also resulted in a large uptick in town recruitment, despite the mitigations made by the EMC Management team.

How do I Help?

To help with Wiki Eras, you should join the Community Discord and then ask the Wiki Staff Team to add your event from Aurora. The contribution will be documented in this page. Link for the Community Discord.

Where Can I Find Information?

If you do not have any events in mind, but still wish to contribute, the best places to collect information would be the EMC News Organisations TBI and EMCL.
