Faux News is loosely based on real-life American news source Fox News, who tends to be conservative-biased and often fakes and overexaggerates news themselves.

On January 5th, 2020, an event was hosted by Faux News called the EarthMC Kahoot, and as it sounds it was a kahoot. Over 69 players joined in the kahoot.

Faux News has appeared in the 2020 show Animaniacs, although many see this as a mere coincidence.
