The National Democratic Union, often shortened to simply the NDU, is a political club in the Salish Confederation. It was founded by Salish Chancellor SayerQT on 19 January 2022, along numerous other members of the Salish Government, to succeed the ailing National Reform Party, which by this point was effectively defunct and served no real logistic purpose in any real means. It currently is serving as the sole party in the Secretariat.

It is focused primarily on logistical change for the state to make in order to bring about activity and an active community which is free, democratic, and fair for all citizens. It is not ideological, however if their policies are analyzed it can be comparable to Social Democracy and would sit on the center-left of the political spectrum; however EarthMC does not necessarily follow an IRL political spectrum in practice. It is a strong proponent of Salish nationalism and is in general opposed to the idea of reunification with Cascadia, as well as Federalism and Constitutionalism; however the ideals of anti-unification and nationalism have significantly died down and instead have been more centered in the different facets of salish nationalism, such as the other positions of the NDU.
