The Prime Minister of the Polar Republic, formely known as the PM of the Antarctic Union is the head of state, head of government, and chief executive of the Polar Republic. It represents the people of Polar Republic in the Assembly, and chairs the Cabinet. While the position historically served a two week term, this term was increased to a month following the September 2023 Antarctic Union referendum. The Prime Minister is an incredibly important position on a global stage, as they serve as the Union's representative to the world. They are elected by the Assembly, and are subject to its confidence.
History
After the merger of AU and AE in November 2023, Prime Minister of AU became the Prime Minister of PR.
