Background

Nubia, otherwise known as the Third Nubian Empire, is often described as one of the most powerful and influential nations on EarthMC Terra Aurora. Its influence stretches everywhere around the world through its meganation, The Third Nubian Empire. However, Nubia's influence is most prominent in the regions of Africa, the Middle East, India, Central Asia, Eastern Russia, Indochina, Indonesia, and Australia. This is because Nubia's dynamic range for towns has either in the recent past or currently extended to all of these areas, covering more than three continents and hundreds of regions and comprising of a peak total of 197 towns at once.

The founding of Nubia in December 2023 was the reincarnation of Nubia from Terra Nova; the key figures involved in the founding, Emperor Thee_Boss, gorkymoo1119, and ex—Emperor twomoo1119 both played a significant role in the First and Second Nubian Empires previously. Much of its early founding documents, including its constitution, was made with reference to the governmental system of the Second Nubian Empire. From December 2023 to March 2024, the nation remained focused primarily in Africa, achieving significant population growth and continued territorial growth to the south and east of Meroe, with its government defined during this period by a small active playerbase, whilst also seeing non-contiguous imperial growth with the addition of the Kongo. After a multitude of months, the Third Nubian Empire continued to grow, extending across Africa and the Middle East, slowly expanding its influence. It officially established itself as a growing power in Africa when it joined the Polar Republic and the capital of Meroe reached over one hundred residents.

The Third Nubian Empire is a constitutional monarchy, defined by democratic characteristics, including the election of five ministerial positions that form the Upper House, informally known as the Cabinet. The meganation is further subdivided into smaller provinces, with devolved responsibilites for regional and local governance. The Upper House is advised in their duty by the Imperial Assistant, a role which was redefined in December 2024. The role of Grand Bovine, an advisory position, is also held by those involved in the foundation of the Third Nubian Empire; Emperor Thee_Boss, gorkymoo1119 and twomoo1119. Nubia was previously a member of the Polar Republic from January to August 2024. Since Nubia has been created, the government structure has changed slightly multiple times throughout its history. Nations within the Third Nubian Empire can become provinces if their nation and or mega nation is significant enough to qualify for one. Provinces get increased political autonomy and receive the ability to place a representative in the Nubian government. A position for former leaders and high-ranking members of Nubia was created called "Qores", and the role of Grand Bovine was replaced. Qores effectively help the current emperor make decisions and or help run the nation in times of unavailability from the emperor or if the emperor feels he or she cannot handle the situation at hand.

Big Cow is the religious figure of Nubia and the Third Nubian Empire. Big Cow is a mystical being that is everything, everywhere, at any time. Big Cow is Always Watching, and continues to influence thousands across the EarthMC community. Even new players are influenced by Big Cow, whether it be ending up with Big Cow map art or buying 1G God Tools and 1G God Armor from the Nubian Tool and Armor shop which continues to be the cheapest and only major tool and armor shop on the server. Big Cow helps turn the tide of wars, conflicts, and misunderstandings in Nubia's favor. Big Cow is Always Watching-The Pasture Expands.

The Nubian flag reused the flag that used from Nova counterpart, which is a vertical tricolor/tricolour. The most speculated symbolism of the flag is that the fly end of the flag is dyed brown to represent the people of the East African coast. The middle band is also dyed white as to represent the White Nile River which flows through the center of the nation. The black band represents the fertility of the Nile River and the land that sits by it. Another popular theory is that the Nubian flag represents the typical colors of a cow, black-white-brown, to support Big Cow. While this theory has mainly grown popular within Terra Aurora, many believe the reasonings can be traced back to the FNE and SNE, (First and Second Nubian Empire).

Third Nubian Empire (Meganation)

The Third Nubian Empire consists of multiple nations throughout Africa, Asia, Australia, North America, Europe and Antarctica. At its peak it reached 42 total nations inside of it at once and was spread from both sides of the EMC map. The Third Nubian Empire is mostly kept to Africa, Asia, and Australia to avoid instability and overreach. The policy is to keep most nations that join the Third Nubian Empire within close proximity or inside of Nubia's dynamic range. There have been plenty exceptions to this rule, which usually occur through provinces of the Third Nubian Empire creating their own mega nations and inviting international nations to it or rare exceptions where nations not from those areas join, usually due to close friendship, connection, or cooperation beforehand, examples being Aurora:Hawaii and Aurora:Arctic.

There are many major nations inside of the Third Nubian Empire, most of which have grown to such size throughout their membership, examples being the nation of Uzbekistan and Sulawesi. Both of which topping the resident charts and town charts during their peak, even outpopulating Nubia for a couple days. Both of which have their own empires inside of the Third Nubian Empire which are named the First Sulawesian Empire and the Uzbekistan Federation. Both of these happen to be provinces. Like mentioned in the background section, provinces are inside of the Third Nubian Empire but are allowed more autonomy than regular nations. Provinces include: Bharat League of States, Union of Pacific States, the Uzbek Federation, The First Sulawesian Empire, Aurora:Egypt, and the Arctic Empire Two.

The Third Nubian Empire makes diplomacy on behalf of all nations, regardless of what province they are in or how much they are involved. When the Third Nubian Empire allies with a nation, all nations in the Third Nubian Empire are now allies with said nation. This was seen most prominently when the Third Nubian Empire joined the Entente against threats of war by the hostile nations of RSA and Pilbara (covered in the Conflicts section). Not every alliance has gone over perfectly, however most nations the Third Nubian Empire does diplomacy with are generally well liked among the nations inside of it.

There have been a lot of nations inside of the Third Nubian Empire, all of which have at some point been under the partial control of the emperor, whether it be Thee_Boss or MrPickle26. Every nation (almost) that has been inside the Third Nubian Empire goes as follows:
