The May 2021 Nubia elections are the elections scheduled for early May 2021 in Nubia for Minister positions in government.
Background
Previous election
In the previous election, there would be 2 shock elections, with the election not going according to several predictions. The shock elections would come under much attention, with the newly elected Ministers, Fijiloopins and Sad_poo, coming under much attention and scrutiny from other Nubian politicians.
Imperial Affairs
The incumbent Minister of Imperial Affairs, Sad_poo, came under some criticism for not performing his duties after posting a poll that caused controversy due to the content of it. Mengan_ had expressed interest in running for the position to replace him in mid-April 2021, with her originally running in the April elections but losing in what was considered by many a shock election.
He had met backlash within his first few days in office too, with Minister of Foreign Affairs gorkymoo1119 fearing Sad_poo lacked the 'competency and skills required to be a Minister'. Previously, he had been a key figure in impeaching UsualKostas on similar charges.
