The Antarctic Assembly was the legislative and governing body of the Antarctic Union. It consisted of 29 members representing the people of the 11 member states. They had the right to veto any suggestions the Cabinet proposed. The Assembly provided the necessary confidence for the Executive, headed by the Prime Minister, to govern, and could pass laws and resolutions.
