They had the right to veto any suggestions [[Cabinet of Antarctic Union|the Cabinet]] proposed. The Assembly provided the necessary confidence for the Executive, headed by the [[Aurora:Prime Minister of Antarctic Union|Prime Minister]], to govern, and could pass laws and resolutions.
