History
Founding plans (5 April 2025 – 18 April 2026)
5 April 2025 — Fix announced that the server would open a new season on 1 May 2026, prompting the Ming cabinet to begin discussing preparations for the new season.
Early days of the nation (18 April 2026 – 30 April 2026)
18 April 2026 — The Ming pioneer squad (PreviousYun, Venti3, Judgemen_t, Su_Su_a, ji_mo) entered the server through early access. The original plan was to take the four great cities of Nanjing, Hangzhou, Nantong and Yangzhou, and then seize Shanghai when the opportunity arose; however, because the struggle over the Shanghai area was too fierce, the pioneer squad decided to abandon Shanghai and instead agreed to take Suzhou. While the squad was holding an impromptu meeting, the player mi_la took Suzhou. When the squad leader looked into mi_la's real identity, he discovered that mi_la was a member of Ming from the previous season, and immediately invited him to join the Ming pioneer squad; mi_la gladly accepted. In order to connect Nanjing and Suzhou, PreviousYun founded Wuxi between the two. At this point the Ming pioneer squad had taken a total of six cities — Nanjing, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Nantong, Yangzhou (present-day Yingtianfu) and Wuxi — and the first phase of the pioneering mission came to a successful close. Meanwhile, on the other side, the Pomegranate Seed pioneer squad also entered the server through early access. With ji_mo's help it successfully founded Guangzhou and set up a shop there, and afterwards founded many cities in the Greater Bay Area.
19 April — At ten o'clock that day, China was founded with Chang'an as its capital, and the Ming pioneer squad temporarily joined China out of practical necessity. At seventeen o'clock, Han was founded with Zhumadian as its capital.
23 April — The pioneer squad spent five days collecting the 5,128G required to found a nation (Venti 1,800G, Judgemen_t 1,600G, with the remaining funds made up by the other three), and at 23:40 Beijing time founded the nation in Nanjing. At the same time Judgemen_t was crowned king and PreviousYun served as provisional prime minister (also called provisional president), while the other members of the pioneer squad were all appointed as national administrators. Ming was the third nation founded in the Chinese region after China and Han. Shortly afterwards, the various cities of the Yangtze River Delta and the Greater Bay Area joined the Republic of Ming one after another.

23 April — LanFang was founded in western Borneo, becoming the first Chinese nation founded abroad.
25 April — The Republic of Ming and Han signed a non-aggression treaty.
28 April — PRC was founded in Jinan, and a little later the king of Lanfang was banned.
Regional conflict and consolidation (30 April 2026 – 8 June 2026)

The Anti-Japanese War (8 June 2026 – present)
8 June — At one o'clock in the afternoon, a treaty previously signed between the leader of China, yunwu, and Japan was leaked. At 21:39, Japan's Minister of National Defense 173BIGMAC declared war on Yamato, the ROC and the PRC in the name of a defensive war; afterwards Ming and Republican China joined the war as allies of the RPC, and at 22:38 the same day the United Front of the Chinese Nation (UFCN) declared war on Japan and on the Taiwan puppet regime. At midnight, the Southwest Group of China rose in revolt and defected to Ming.
10 June — Japanese troops landed at Nantong in Zhili and established the stronghold of Rudong. The Taiwan puppet government declared war on Ming.
15 June — Xiamen surrendered to Japan.
Wartime economy and politics
19 June — The second Pearl River Delta Collective Assembly was held in Guangzhou. The contents of the assembly were as follows:
1. The assembly approved the retirement applications of the principal committee members kiss_short and cheun_lau. Both players formally retired and were awarded the title "Honorary Citizen of Guangzhou". From that day the assembly openly invited all players to apply for or recommend candidates for the relevant principal committee positions. Elections are to be held in accordance with the "Collective Assembly and Principal Committee System", after which the candidates formally take office. 2. The assembly approved the relocation of Guangzhou's future all-items shop, to be carried out by the three shop administrators Angelt, C_monitor and llWmfdll, who are also responsible for planning the new shop's affairs and drafting its rules. 3. The assembly approved the condemnation of Japan's various acts of aggression and the rebuttal of the related claims, to be issued as a formal document by the diplomatic department of the Ming government. 4. The assembly formally discussed the optimisation of how the collective assembly is conducted and the scope it will cover in future. Renshu171 will be responsible for communicating and negotiating with Ming personnel.

12 July — Xiamen founded the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom.
25 July — Suzhou Prefecture issued a statement on the Yunnan city-deletion incident, saying that the lord of Yunnan city had violated the agreement not to open trust to Suzhou residents, which caused Suzhou's builders and machines to flow away and thus gave rise to the city-deletion dispute.
26 July — The Northern Zhejiang Economic Development Zone was proclaimed within Ming, with Hangzhou and Shaoxing as its core.
28 July — Internally, Ming called for the appointment of a dedicated official in charge of diplomacy, in preparation for future negotiations with Japan and for jointly organising seats and the agenda with the PRC.

30 August — The Republic of Ming signed a non-aggression treaty with Nusantara, and on the same day the Republic of Ming successfully landed on the Moon for the first time and established the Guanghan Palace lunar base. Afterwards the Republic of Ming carried out several more lunar landings and established more lunar bases.
5 September — The Republic of Ming signed a non-aggression treaty with the Kingdom of Norway.
21 September — Lanfang and the Republic of Ming signed a non-aggression treaty.
The war intensifies
26 September — The town of Zhejiang was taken by Japan's commander of the invasion of China, and the neighbouring PRC town of Huzhou immediately came under Japanese attack. After capturing the greater part of one building, the Japanese side destroyed the entire occupied area by means of TNT blasting, causing an uproar among players in the Chinese community. In order to salvage the situation, senior PRC figures mobilised a large number of players suspected of being alternate accounts in order to counter-OC. The intervention of the administrators meant this did not go as hoped.
27 September — Because of "the use of alternate accounts" and other reasons, the supreme leader of the PRC, TimeSpace_ZONE, the mayor of Shanghai, LAOLING__, and several other PRC players were banned. Later the same day, the Chinese Empire moved its capital to Dalian and renamed it Fengtian.
Extra: 10.20 PCL2 incident (2026.10.20 - present)
20 October — The developer of the PCL2 launcher, known as "Longteng Maoyue" , suddenly released an update (version 2.99) that removed the functionality for downloading Minecraft versions and modpacks. On the video platform Bilibili, the developer posted a "crying" emoji, accompanied by a comment: "Note: This has nothing to do with NetEase or Microsoft/Mojang—'Chinese-style parenting' is truly something else, isn't it?" Shortly thereafter, screenshots surfaced from the official PCL2 QQ group, in which the developer explained that a child had spent money (reportedly 2,500 RMB) on a private server; the child's parents subsequently reported the server—and, by extension, the PCL2 launcher itself. Following this, the HMCL launcher also announced the removal of its download features, and ZalithLauncher followed suit in its latest version. Meanwhile, the FCL launcher updated its user agreement on GitHub, stating that download services would no longer be provided to users in mainland China.
21 October — The official website for the FCL launcher became unable to provide downloads for its installation packages. On the same day, a Bilibili user named "Xiao Kun Ge" posted a video demonstrating a "backdoor" in the PCL2 launcher, along with a tutorial on how to exploit it.
22 October — The developer announced on Bilibili that the PCL2 launcher had been hit by the largest-scale DDoS attack in its history. The attack involved 2.1 billion HTTPS requests—peaking at 154 million requests per minute—originating from over 10,000 distinct IPv4 addresses. The incident resulted in direct losses exceeding 6,000 RMB, 4,674 RMB of which the developer covered out of his own pocket. He also stated that he intended to report the matter to the police. (Subsequently, other individuals managed to uncover the identities of both the attacker and the parent who had filed the initial report.)
25 October — Longteng Maoyue posted an update on Bilibili announcing that the PCL2 launcher had been updated to version 2.99.0.1. In the notice stating that "Minecraft download functionality is temporarily unavailable," the word "temporarily" was removed—it’s not coming back. Meanwhile, the FCL launcher released version 1.3.4.2, with a promise that "this version will not disable download functionality."
26 October — Addressing rumors that his GitHub account had been banned, Longteng Maoyue responded on Bilibili. He suspects the ban was triggered by GitHub’s automated risk-control systems when he published an article on the platform refuting claims about alleged vulnerabilities and backdoors in PCL2. He mentioned receiving a "chat log of a report" (an accusation), though he could not confirm if it was linked to the ban. He believes it might just be a glitch on GitHub’s end; he has submitted a follow-up explanation, but GitHub has yet to respond—it’s unclear how long the wait might be…
28 October — It was confirmed that the latest version of the HMCL launcher has restored its download functionality.
As for how this situation will unfold, we—the ordinary players—have no way of knowing. All we can do is wait...
Hoping that PCL2’s download functionality is restored soon!!!

A special administrative region is the type of administrative division reserved for shop-type nations founded officially or spontaneously by the people of Ming. A liberated area is a provisional administrative division established on the territory of an enemy state. In addition, the Republic of Ming also has several lunar bases on the Moon.
