January 2021 Nubia elections

The January 2021 Nubia elections were the elections for Minister positions in the nation of Nubia and the Second Nubian Empire. Voting for the elections started on the 31st of December 2020 and finished on the 1st of January 2021, with campaigning starting on the 26th of January 2021.
This election was the first in months to not feature incumbents running for re-election and winning, as re-election complaints had encouraged them all not to run for re-election this month. A whole new government would be formed, many new to Nubian politics managed to succeed in the elections.
The new government started a considerable amount of controversy due to the changes made, with conflict emerging between former Minister of Cultural Affairs Noahser and newly elected Minister of Foreign Affairs Yoshigamer1298.
Background
The Nubian elections take place monthly, with around 3 individuals running for each positions usually. In the elections prior, candidates Thee_Boss, StarKiller1744 and gorkymoo1119 had won landslide victories in first choice votes, and all Ministers elected in October 2020 were re-elected.
Re-election complaints
Prior to elections, complaints regarding the incumbents being consistently re-elected were made by several Nubians. After discussion about what to do regarding this with gorkymoo1119, twomoo1119 talked to other Ministers about them running again. Every incumbent Minister agreed to not seek re-election in these elections.
Despite agreeing, the incumbent Minister of Defence, StarKiller1744, stated he may run if only Wandering_Hero ran for defence. This had some advocates to prevent re-election of incumbents scared that he may not follow through, but concern was minimal after discussion with the Nubian leadership and the people advocating against the re-election of incumbents.
Many who did not know about the deal were shocked to see incumbent Minister of Municipal Development, gorkymoo1119, who had held the position for 6 terms not run. He had not publicly stated anywhere, other than the EarthMC Wiki, that he was not running once more.

Predictions
During the elections, several Nubians expressed their thoughts on who would be the likely winner for each position, with many agreeing on who would win the position.
Aftermath
Three Minister positions would be won by a landslide, Minister of Cultural Affairs (won by Driifter), Minister of Defence (won by Lopile) and Minister of Foreign Affairs (won by Yoshigamer1298), won by all very well-known and liked members of the Nubian community. Alas would also controversy after winning due to the fact they had been very inactive, and, as a result were not re-elected in the next elections.
In the election for Minister positions after this one (February 2021 elections), many members of the December elected government would run for government yet again, with all those contesting winninng.
