Plushie_Foxy's campaigns for the February 2021 Nubia elections for the positions of Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Trade and Commerce within Nubia was announced respectively on the 26th January 2021 (Minister of Trade and Commerce) and on the 29th January 2021 (Minister of Foreign Affairs).
For Minister of Trade and Commerce, Plushie_Foxy would put out his first piece of election propaganda on the 27th January 2021. He would post 3 pieces of election propaganda, 2 in the form of posters, with one criticizing front-runner Thee_Boss and the other picturing a Nubian flag as its background and text in front suggesting Plushie_Foxy would defend Nubia. After receiving strong opposition from notable Nubian politicians, who criticized him for lacking experience and not understanding the economy on EarthMC, Plushie_Foxy would withdraw from the race, endorsing cahden initially and later Thee_Boss.
During his time campaigning for Minister of Trade and Commerce, Plushie_Foxy would receive much criticism from gorkymoo1119, who was campaigning for re-election as Nubian Minister of Foreign Affairs. He would only post 1 piece of election propaganda, in which he called gorkymoo1119 'gloomy gorky'. His criticism from his campaign for Minister of Trade and Commerce would continue here too, much especially received during the Plushie_Foxy DM scandal.
He would be unknown by most voters, having last been on in mid-January 2021 and not interacted with most voters. This would result in him coming last in first choice first, with his competitor gorkymoo1119 coming in first, credited in part to being more high-profile than others, with his campaign endorsed by the most politicians out of other candidates in the Foreign Affairs race.
Background
Plushie_Foxy would initially join on the 7th January 2021, being invited to Turkana and building up his house for the next 3 days. After this, he would not log on once more, and thus was not known within Nubia.
Campaign
Campaign for Minister of Trade and Commerce
Announcement
On the 26th January 2021, Plushie_Foxy would announce his candidacy for the position, with immediate competition from high-profile figures such as cahden and Thee_Boss. He was unknown, with several Nubian politicians questioning who he was.
First election propaganda
On the 27th January 2021, he would post his first election propaganda, which would feature the flag of Nubia as its background and his profile picture on top, with a caption reading 'Ready to defend, one block at at time'.
Reaction to 'Flakey Foxy' comment
Later on the 27th January 2021, Thee_Boss nicknamed Plushie_Foxy 'Flakey Foxy' in a piece of election propaganda from his campaign. After noticing this, Plushie_Foxy would react with anger, suggesting he would attack Nubia. After making the comments, he would leave the Nubia discord, before returning 30 minutes later.
After this on the next day, the 28th January, he would publish an official response in the Nubian discord's election discussion channel, suggesting Thee_Boss agreed with nazis as Thee_Boss had previously published a picture that showed the Nazi German flag replaced with cows on the swastika, saying that Thee_Boss would destroy the Nubian 'way of life'.
Railroad plan announcement
Prior to the Flakey Foxy comment and aftermath, he would announce that he had '10 trade routes ready to open'. This was initially met with little reaction due to him leaving the Nubian discord during the Flakey Foxy incident. However, after rejoining the Nubian discord, he would announce plans for a minecart network, in a message reading:
Hello Nubians.
Most of the candidates who are asking for votes only want to win. I only want to help.
The ice roads have been torn apart, and even sections have been torn off. Your calls for help have been denied by Thee_Boss. Do you really want someone who creates a NAZI SYMBOL controlling your trades?
We have had ENOUGH.
Thee_Boss thinks he can win and destroy our way of life. He thinks he can cut off trade routes. He even thinks he can CUT US OFF FROM THE ICE NETWORK.
That's why I have devised a plan.
If I am elected, I will make us a trade central, buffing up the ice roads and creating a massive mine-cart network with allies. I will create trade agreements with other nations, and soon making us the biggest trading hub in the world.
But I need your help.
I can't do this alone, and we must all work together to help Nubia prosper.
If you elect me, I promise I will help you.

After the message was put out, he would receive widespread backlash, with cahden immediately questioning Plushie_Foxy's ability to be a Minister. Mengan_, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, would point out that there was teleportation on the server, thus making a minecart system useless.
Plushie_Foxy would respond to these messages by saying that a minecart system allows for travel around the world, and that he had 'hired 50 people' to work on the ice roads. This was met with more ridicule by several Nubian politicians, who pointed out his inactivity and doubted his claims about workers, after Plushie_Foxy claimed that he had paid them all 10 iron each. This would include ridicule from Minister of Foreign Affairs candidate gorkymoo1119, who predicted Thee_Boss would win and that Plushie_Foxy should pull out of the race.
After this, cahden would ask him how he thought trade worked on EarthMC, with fellow candidate Thee_Boss pointing out a few hours later that Plushie_Foxy didn't reply, despite being online on discord.
Exit of election
On the 29th January 2021, after a large amount of opposition by several notable Nubian politicians, Plushie_Foxy would leave the race, stating that he 'needed time to learn EMC'. He would initially endorse cahden before switching his endorsement to Thee_Boss.
Campaign for Minister of Foreign Affairs
Registration
Later on the 29th January 2021, he would register to run for the Minister of Foreign Affairs race. This was as a result of gorkymoo1119 and his campaign supporters being some of the people most involved in opposing Plushie_Foxy's candidacy. He would message gorkymoo1119, saying that he was now running against him.
Debate
Plushie_Foxy would not attend the debate in the election, stating that he was 'busy'. Both his competitors, gorkymoo1119 and vaguemoo119, would state that a Minister should be active.
'Who is our closest non-Empire ally?'
During the debate, gorkymoo1119 had asked vaguemoo119 who their closest non-Empire ally was. He intended to ask this to Plushie_Foxy too, however due to Plushie_Foxy's absence he couldn't. After the debate, he would ask Plushie_Foxy the question. It would take around 3 minutes for Plushie_Foxy to reply, with him stating that he 'couldnt find his list of allies'. Gorkymoo1119 would suggest he was stalling, until Plushie_Foxy would answer with Katanga, a Nubian colony.
After this response, gorkymoo1119 would point out that Katanga was part of Nubia. Soon after this, th0op would message gorkymoo1119 saying that Plushie_Foxy had messaged th0op for an answer to what a Nubian ally would be. This would begin the Plushie_Foxy DM scandal.
DM scandal
After receiving a message from th0op in regards to Plushie_Foxy requesting knowledge of Nubian foreign affairs from her, gorkymoo1119 would confront Plushie_Foxy. Plushie_Foxy would deny such, with gorkymoo1119 then use a screenshot from th0op of th0op's conversation with Plushie_Foxy. Initially, Plushie_Foxy would ignore this message in the #election-discussion discord channel, with him moving to #general. Here, he would accuse gorkymoo1119 of invasion of privacy, which would be met with more opposition and the withdrawal of th0op's endorsement.
Opposition
As a result of his comments during his campaigns that were often considered to exaggerate on what he had done and his previous experience, he would receive widespread opposition by several notable Nubian politicians. He would receive even more opposition after his DM scandal, which resulted in his only endorsement being withdrawn.
Projections
All 5 predictions would say that Plushie_Foxy would lose and gorkymoo1119 win, due to his electoral record and lack of public opposition.
Endorsement of th0op
During the campaign in February 2021, th0op would endorse Plushie_Foxy after having Plushie_Foxy request their endorsement. Th0op had said this was only due to Plushie_Foxy's request. However, after Plushie_Foxy's DM scandal, she would remove their endorsement for Plushie_Foxy and oppose Plushie_Foxy's candidacy.
Issues and positions
During his campaign for Minister of Trade and Commerce, Plushie_Foxy would promote a new system of minecarts. This would receive criticism, with people questioning it's usefulness.
He would also suggest building new icelines to other allies of Nubia, despite projects and such iceroads already being in place. His infrastructure ideas were viewed as outdated as he did not acknowledge the ability to teleport and how such minecarts lack usage.
During his candidacy for Minister of Foreign Affairs, he also suggested gorkymoo1119 was looking for war, and that Plushie_Foxy would promote peace.
