SayerQT (spawned January 19, 2020) is a Salish-Evergrenite politician and stateswoman who is currently serving as the 2nd Chancellor of the Evergreen Republic since 2 March 2022. She previously was substantially active in the predecessor state of the Salish Confederation, whom she led as Chancellor on three separate occasions, serving from 1 April - 30 May 2020, 1 July - 1 September 2021, and 1 January - 31 January 2022; as 3rd, 16th, and 21st Chancellors respectively. She was a founding member of the Salish Confederation during the Salish Revolution, in which Salish split off from the Republic of Cascadia over the perceived corruption of the cascadian government. Associated with Reform, Democracy, and Labor movements, she served briefly as Queen of Nova Scotia in Late 2020. She is the Mayor of the town she founded, Winthrop, located in the Province of British Columbia, where she currently serves as Premier.
Pre-civilization experiences
SayerQT spawned in the Ural Mountains on 2 March 2018 in Russia and planned on making the trek to the Bering Strait to settle in her home state of Washington in North America. Unbeknownst to her, you cannot loop around the Bering strait in EarthMC and was stuck. At this point she realized from global chat that you can teleport by joining towns and joined the town of Vancouver. It was also at this time that she made a small house to the south of Vancouver that is visible on many old maps of the region. She left for around 3 months and came back being kicked from Vancouver and joined London this time. She went permanently inactive in November.
History
On January 19 2020 SayerQT joined EarthMC again. This time, she was recruited into the cascadian capital Astoria by Estonian_Mapping (now EstiQT). She also joined the Cascadian Discord sometime after and began raising funds for a new town on the Kitsap Peninsula called “Port_Townsend”, Due to a towny glitch she wasn’t able to make the towns but without knowing to go through a nether portal she gave up on port Townsend and formed the town “Winthrop” in the North Cascades, named after an IRL town in Washington State. It was founded as a Municipality of the Capitol Province of the Republic of Cascadia.
Feburary 2020
in Early February, Vorobyevite (Mayor of Wenatchee) contacted SayerQT via discord about discontent with the Cascadian political system. Sayer also shared the same views and joined the new concept of the Salish Federation along with Seattle mayor JTPilfered and others. These communications were exposed by KingBerman of Cascadia and they were denounced as traitors by the cascadian government. The nation Salish was created shortly afterwards with Sayer joining. Sayer never took a role in Salish politics at the start but contributed to the effort.
March 2020
During JTPilfered’s Chancellery Sayer was the Minister of Transportation and Roadways. She started construction on the Salish Iceway System which is still expanding to this day. This was the most active month of the Pacific Revolutions. See more info here; The Pacific Revolutions.
First Chancellery
Due to JTPIlfered resigning as Chancellor on April 1 leaving to join Jefferson, SayerQT was unanimously elected as the Third Chancellor of the Salish federation. She was faced with an inactive nation, with the nation only having around 12 residents. By the end of April it reached Empire and by May it was well into realm status. She had her term extended by parliament into May.
Summer 2020
SayerQT was Lead Senator under xGoat_ and Minister of Finance and the Treasury under JesTer_BBX. Winthrop reaches 15 residents sometime in June. In June she also came out as a trans female. Winthrop reached 100 claims in late July. She was on the Constitutional Reform Team led by Fortis_Ipsum.
Reign in Nova Scotia
On September 31, 2020, SayerQT purchased the nation of Nova Scotia as well as it's capital of Halifax from the player Tafffy for 1.5K gold. It joined Salish shortly after. She served as the Queen of Nova Scotia from September 31, 2020 until the death of the nation in September 2021, however for most of the final part of her reign was out of the nation and in British Columbia.
Winter 2020
SayerQT was Minister of Foreign Affairs during the Third JesTer_BBX Secretariat, and Minister of Recruitment in the First xK1 and Fourth JesTer Secretariats. After the Excommunication Controversy immediately following the January 2021 Federal Election, she went into a steady period of inactivity. She created the town of Yorkton in Alberta for a brief period of time in April 2020 but it later disbanded and she returned to Winthrop, where she remains.
Later evidence strongly suggests that during this time period the Salish State Apparatus under JesTer_BBX and later Fortis_Ipsum took extreme measures via organs such as the SIS and manipulating constitutional law and the judiciary in order to prevent SayerQT from exercising political power; as she was seen by many as the only genuine threat to the regime that has seemingly evolved under the political dynasty of JesTer. However, SayerQT used the law to her advantage and was finally allowed to run in the July 2021 Election.
She briefly served as the Prime Minister of the Canadian Empire during this period until the the Coup d'état of 27 July.
Second Chancellery
After a period of inactivity in not just herself but the Salish Confederation, she ran for Chancellor of the Salish Confederation in the July 2021 Federal Election. She won the Election with 67% of the Vote in the First Round. Her chancellery oversaw the ascension of Acadia into the Confederation, souring of relations with Quebec, and an increased period of activity and legislation. This also saw the Seventh Revision of the Constitution, the current Constitution in effect, which overhauled the Constitutional Amending process and had significant government reforms. However this also saw the independence of Alberta shortly after the ascension of Acadia. She took brief complete power during the final hours of her chancellery with approval from most salish citizens in order to solve the September 2021 Salish Constitutional Crisis.
Post-Chancellery
Since leaving office she has served as the Minister of Internal Affairs under the Froyourfilms-Paleles Chancellery and in the 2nd FroyourFilms Chancellery. She has helped with numerous projects. She also ratified the Constitution of British Columbia, and served as the 1st Premier.
Third Chancellery
She ran unopposed in the January 2022 Federal Election. Her chancellery focused on expanding the critically weakened nation who had under 30 residents. The end of her chancellery was primarily focused on private talks with the Government of Cascadia about potentially reunifying, as their goals had become ideologically similar since the revolution and they were willing to establish a completely new state instead of merging into one or the other.
The Evergreen Republic
She took back the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the These talks eventually blossomed into a full on constitutional convention with delegates from the respective nation's governments. SayerQT became a leading force within the convention, and she ended up authoring an overwhelming majority of the Constitution of the Evergreen Republic, which is still in force to this day. After the Republic was established and both the Republic of Cascadia and the Salish Confederation dissolved, she served in the FroyourFilms Government under Caribou Compromise where she served as an Advisor. After the election of xBest_Name_Everx as President of the Republic in the March election, she was nominated Chancellor and formed a government with a supermajority in the Assembly. Her government has focused on expansion and development of the new nation in a bipartisan fashion.
Controversies
The Squamish Debacle
In Mid-July, SayerQT as Minister of the Treasury used salish national bank funds to fund the new town of Squamish in Southwest British Columbia for Salish Inside Cascadian Territory, forgetting previous border agreements. After a tense period of 1 day, the town was given to Cascadia and the Squpastul held a vote on impeaching SayerQT from her Position as Minister of the Treasury. The vote failed to reach the 2/3 needed for impeachment, however still received a majority of votes.
The Excommunication Controversy
She ran for Chancellor for the Salish Confederation in the January 2021 election against KiwiFruht and conceded graciously. She lost by the closest margin in any Salish Federal election prior to the September 2021 Election, garnering 46.2% of the Vote. After a constitutional crisis SayerQT was charged and excommunicated from the Salish Confederation for trumped up charges of Electoral Fraud by a unanimous ruling by the Supreme Court later posthumously found unconstitutional by the Salish Court of Grievances. She was let back in in an unconstitutional vote in the Parliament on January 3, however refused to return until the resignation of KiwiFruht, which occured on January 12, 2021. During her brief period a way she was in exile in the Cascadian Province of Wyoming and then back in Nova Scotia.
The Coup d'état of 27 July
SayerQT briefly served as the elected Prime Minister of the Canadian Empire, consisting of Quebec, Illinois, and the Salish Confederation. On the night of 27 July 2022, she was overthrown from power by the Imperial Security Intelligence Service, led by Enanemes, who removed the membership of the Salish Confederation from the Canadian Empire. After this occurred, Kounter with the support of the Imperial Security Intelligence Service was chosen by the Junta as Prime Minister and Emperor, a Junta that existed until the formation of the 3rd Canadian Empire.
