Player [[al803]] was probably the first to learn about the Terra Nova startup. He shared the news with other Polish players, including [[Mlecz]] and he had ambitions to realize the plan of a Polish state. Few days later the group quietly proclaimed the Polish Republic to not raise awareness of German, Russian and Moravian neighbors and to not be quickly invaded/occupied. Some time after the republic was transformed to a monarchy which wasn't appreciated by future Szczecin settlers (kacp222, panciast, Tymkowsky). They tried to destabilize the state by spying and sabotaging (September 19, 2018), however few supporters of the King reported to him their betrayal actions and the perpetrators were punished with a "discord jail and isolation" sentence.
Poland was gaining more and more people day by day, but the leading path chosen by Mlecz was not appreciated by some. The state prepared much false propaganda because the Polish State was less liberalist than Poland. Each state had its own web of spies in their rival nation. Another nation called Krakovia also was made in times of the civil war by Loverboy_25 on February 4. It was subjugated by the Polish State, but it may be a rumor.

Mlecz was furious about the disestablishment, so he persuaded xHyper into returning his position back. He then created the state called “Pomerania” which owned Gdansk. There were many battles between both rivals later. Pomerania had international support, but the Polish State was much stronger. He eventually sold Pomerania for Danes in March 2019 because he had given up hope to win the civil war and was also bored. MlecznySernik emigrated to Borneo and that way Gdansk and Pomerania became Danish vassals under caro_b’s mayorship. Polish State functioned prosperously and basically won the civil war.

Battling of both forces was eventually won by Greater Roman Empire.

Kingdom of Poland (pol. Królestwo Polskie), Poland is a kingdom located in Central Europe with the capital being Gdansk. Established on November 9, 2018 by Mlecz, disbanded on January 27, 2019 by xHyper20 and recreated a few hours later by Mlecz once again, it is currently one of the oldest nations on EarthMC Terra Nova. The Polish Kingdom is a member of Lechian Empire.

Territory

The Polish Kingdom claims lands of modern Poland, east here, north Czechia, a part of the eastern borderlands, Bornholm island and Tasmania island.

Poland maintains their control over the majority of declared territory, but has serious disputes and problems with the German Confederation in modern Poland. In February 2022, Polish Kingdom successfully settled in Bari, Italy and occupied a little part of south Germany for a few months as a part of the 2-year-old continuous Austrian-Polish conflict. Their puppet, Tasmania, controls barely a quarter of the island. It is due to their inactivity.

Geography

Poland is laying on the North European Plain. Characteristics of Polish geography are flat and highly urbanized land controlled by towns, dense spruce forests in southern Poland and highly modified terrain. Main rivers are Vistula flowing from Krakow to the Baltic Sea through Warszawa, Malbork and Gdansk, and Oder flowing through Stettin, Berlin and Wroclaw. Polish mountain ranges are western Carpathians and eastern Sudetes in south Poland. Small grief, several German and Polish ruins, and general disorder are commonplace. Polish islands appear similar.

Demography

Lands of Poland are permanently settled since 2018 by the vast majority of people of Polish nationality. Pretty all towns have unstable demographics depending on the mayor's activity, and it typically raises from very tens to 200. The so-called “density” is equal almost everywhere with common exceptions in Silesia and in the Galician region. Golden demographic era occurred in 2020 when Poland was populated with some 300 residents including their colonies.

Economy

Economy of the Polish Kingdom is very insignificant. There is one maintained shop in the capital and another from ~10 shops that have stopped functioning. Net worth of the Polish government is estimated at, 15000 gold ingots and a part of funds are being spent on loyal mayors.

Government

The Polish government is an absolute monarchy, with its oligarchy selected by the ruler. Polish parliament is officially called Parlament Królestwa Polskiego or Royal Parliament of Polish Kingdom which consists of Magnateria (magnates) and Szlachta (counts) which is basically a nobility being advisories for the King focusing on the management of the nation. Marszałek, or Marshal of Poland, is a title created in mid-2020 as a replacement for the Towny nation king, reserved for the most loyal noble.

Before Terra Nova (August 2018 - October 2018)

History of Poland began exactly on August 16, 2018, when the Polish community player of EarthMC Classic by name of al803 discovered plans on launching a new Terra Nova edition. Mlecz was one to be informed by him and was first to work on the new nation on August 25, 2018, and to proclaim the first Polish state. Polish Discord was created on August 28, 2018.

Poland was gaining more and more people day by day, but the leading path chosen by Mlecz was not appreciated by some. These: kacp222, Tymkowsky (possibly a Mlecz's spy) and panciast, initiated a "rebellion" on September 19, 2018, which was essentially persuading Polish citizens to turn away from the king (bullying, making propaganda). Supporters of the leader told him about their actions and perpetrators were banished from the community. They were eventually forgiven on October 14, 2018, and put to the new planned city of Szczecin, to pose a "buffer" between Germany and Poland.

Polish Kingdom was proclaimed in a way no foreigner knew about it and everyone tried their best to hide the plans. This decision was made because, unfortunately for the Polish nation, there were several stronger neighbors which were menace for Polish independence ([[Intermarium|Baltic States], Nazi Germany, Great Moravian Empire). On the public maps made in September-October period, Poland didn't exist and the Polish land was swallowed in vast majority, mainly by Prussia.

Beta tests (October 2018)

During beta tests of Terra Nova, Poles set up villages of old Poznan and Wroclaw. Wroclaw was created on October 28, 2018 by Tymek_T. Besides that, the very first settlement on the Polish land was resided on the first day of beta tests in East Sudetes.

Terra Nova launch (November 2018)

With server launched at CET midnight, Poles immediately rushed the server in the morning and habited in assigned cities quickly. All four main towns were made in the first day (Szczecin, Gdansk, Warsaw and Cracow) and 5 other ones were created until the second Szczecin rebellion (Bornholm, Poznan, Lodz, Lwow, Zakopane). The First Polish Kingdom (Poland) was eventually established on November 9, 2018 with celebrations held in Gdansk.

The revolt began on November 6, 2018, after two towns of Bornholm and Szczecin left for Denmark because of high taxes. Taxes were set one day before by MlecznySernik in order to collect the needed gold. All mayors were obligated to pay 5 gold ingots multiplied by the number of residents everyday. Instanced cities were the most populated hence they had to pay the most among other towns. The riot lasted until November 13, 2018, until the leader of Poland tricked Szczecin's mayor (Zuki19) to give up Szczecin to his puppet (panciast). Bornholm, however, rejoined Poland 5 months (April 2019) after that.

War period (November 2018 - January 2019)

City of Konigsberg was created by FenZenyatta on November 13, 2018, then the town of Allenstein was placed (south from Konigsberg) on November 15, 2018. Both nations developed hatred towards each other and were clashing. The Nation of Prussia was created on November 28, 2018 in Konigsberg.

On November 18, 2018 at 16:00 CET, Romanian soldiers (Pengun78, 32Gold) arrived at the Prussian town of Allenstein to fight their mayor. Polish forces (Hacuspl, Snowyy4K, xHyper20) with FenZenyatta came to the scene at 17:00 to help him. As the fighting went on, 32Gold suffered numerous losses. Skirmishes ended at 17:30 as forces went to resupply, but suddenly at 17:40, 32Gold appeared again in Gdansk willing to combat. Poland eventually made him retreat from the capital and they celebrated the victory. After a successful victory, Romanian leader (heat1804) asked for peace; along with 15 gold ingots paid as war reparations which were never recompensed.

On December 1, 2018, Mlecz abdicated in favor of xHyper20 (on which MlecznySernik still had a strong influence). They both decided to launch a counter-offensive towards Romania. On December 2, 2018 at 16:00 CET, a huge Polish army with Mlecz at its lead attacked Bucharest, Romania. Defenders suffered gigantic casualties of ~60 deaths and finally after one hour and half, the clash was over.

On December 31, 2018, MlecznySernik was crowned the king. One week later (January 6, 2019), they once again got the terms from MinskanRus, in which Rus wanted Valston city (halfway from Kyiv to Black Sea). A poll issued by Mlecz whether to surrender to conditions, resulted in a major denial. MinskanRus started a war the same day, conquered Bialystok (retaken few hours later) and Tarnopol (betrayal) on January 9, 2019. Peace was signed by new king (crowned day before) xHyper20 on January 27, 2019.

= The First Great Server War (December 2018)

On December 6, 2018, town of Szczecin organized a concert on the occasion of St. Nicholas' Day. Suddenly, during the event, Qin forces attacked the city and brutally massacred residents from the town but also foreign Polish visitors, because an unknown person turned on PvP permissions on a few plots around. For this reason, many Poles which participated in the happening, were angried, and also because of that, TypowyPLBatman founded Kosice (December 7, 2018), which later sparked the war.

The war broke out on December 22, 2018, when Great Moravian Empire attacked town of Kosice because they claimed it as their core. After the clash in Kosice, attackers were defeated. After a voting, Poland declared war on GME and launched an offensive towards Prague. In the capital, Polish army was completely encircled and crushed by called German forces (only a few made it alive). The merged armies then marched to Warsaw, which its defensive structures were torn down (except of the eastern part) a few days before. Siege of Warsaw ultimately ended in a tie, after a strong resistance of defenders. Other raid was an offensive of Szczecin (December 24, 2018). On January 2, 2019, both nations signed peace treaty and Kosice was lost to GME.

First Polish civil war (January 2019 - March 2019)

Unrest started on January 12, 2019 as respected nobilities (kacp222, Majoor_ and more) saw a huge injustice and monopoly in the government. Most of the unfair power belonged to MlecznySernik because he would appoint his puppets as kings and command them/replace them at any time. This dictatorship sparked a revolution and a chain of constant Polish defeats in the favor of the new revolutionary nation of the Polish State. The First Polish Kingdom leadership tried to reduce the unrest by disbanding the nobility and adding ministries, PM elections, etc.

On January 26, 2019, MlecznySernik was tired of the civil war and he gave Gdansk for xHyper20. He was actually a supporter of him, but after persuadations from revolutionists, he officially disbanded the First Polish Kingdom at night on January 27, 2019, and the Polish State won the civil war.

Not so long after (one hour later), the state of Pomerania was established in Gdansk. One of mlecz supporters (gato3) informed Mlecz about the disbandment of the Polish Kingdom. He then convinced xHyper20 to give power back. It functioned as a rebel of Polish State until late March 2019.

The new country was stabilized and prosperous from early February (as most towns switched nations) to mid-March 2019. Problems began on the democratic elections of the new king (March 18, 2019), as the diarchy collapsed. One candidate (Snowyy4K) doubled another in votes (dymoslaw) due to corruption. On March 23, 2019 a poll about allegiance to Denmark was issued by the king which started a nationwide unrest and caused the collapse of the Polish State (Szczecin and Polish State eventually were sold for Denmark for 1000 gold). Poland was divided between the Danish province, Intermarium and Pomerania. The third state also was under Danish leadership after Mlecz sold Gdansk to caro_b on pretty same date, and he migrated to Borneo island because he was bored.

Second Polish Kingdom (April 2019 - May 2019)

After the Polish nation was shattered into pieces, there was no hope for restoration as Poles splitted between 2 enemy major powers (Denmark and Intermarium). One of Szczecin councillors and then, Polish noble by the name of POGKPP, left his city in order to purchase Gdansk from his own funds. Gdansk was repurchased back from the Danish mayor (caro_b). The new mayor managed to rearrange a few quarreling opposite groups of Poles. The short-living Pomeranian Kingdom was proclaimed on April 8, 2019. The new leader asked Mlecz that he would have the throne only if he returned. And he was crowned king of reborn Poland just five days later; The Second Polish Kingdom was announced. Gdansk was held by POGKPP and Mlecz got control over the new capital, Warsaw.

Unknowingly for Denmark, Poland broke free from Denmark, and due to that, a war was declared. There were few conflicts which were mainly won by invaders. The war quickly ended, because most Danish elites left Denmark to be forgotten by God and people (May 2019). Szczecin still remained in their puppet state, but was probably renamed to Pomerania and functions to nowadays.

Colonialism (April 2019)

In April 2019, the idea of Polish colonialism was born when a player by name jemenik joined EarthMC and shared his colonial ambitions to Poland. He specifically wanted to reside in Tasmania (south from Australia). In late April he settled in New Wadowice in the south-east of the island. On May 27, 2019, the nation of New Australia was sold to jemenik for 300 gold ingots, and it was renamed to Polish Tasmania and the capital was changed. Later on, the colony began to develop and several more towns were established.

Czechoslovakia (May 2019 - June 2019)

In early April 2019, a Polish noble dymoslaw was highly positioned official of Intermarium, until he was persuaded to destroy his nation in exchange of titular rewards (promised Chancellor). Since then, Intermarium completely collapsed into void as he abused his permissions. Mlecz however wasn't in favor of POGKPP's idea because dymoslaw was one of the revolutionists that led to the outbreak of civil war and was opposing him. Under the pressure of POGKPP, Mlecz made dymoslaw a chancellor, but not for long because he was demoted some time later. On April 28, 2019, Mlecz gave power in the nation to xHyper20, who upheld Mlecz's decision about not promoting dymoslaw.

On early May 2019, dymoslaw bought KARL's Estonia for POGKPP’s 350 gold ingots. Polish Estonia was a Polish property for some one-two weeks, until the capital was moved to Wroclaw, and the new rebel nation was renamed to Silesia (May 18, 2019). Few days later, mayor of Prague (Probatski) proposed a cooperation which was accepted. Nation name was changed to Czechoslovakia, and his partners and Czech towns joined the new country. Somewhere in June 2019, POGKPP (he would be crowned by xHyper20 on May 27, 2019) and dymoslaw stood for good terms, in which both nations would form the Polish Union. The meganation was disbanded weeks later as some former Polish towns (including Wroclaw) rejoined Poland (Czechoslovakia was left for Prague).

Polish advances (June 2019 - August 2019)

On June 15, 2019, a settler named Roman "PanGubernator" Dmowski went through Ukrainian steppes to found Kijow (Kyiv, south the real city). It caught the attention of the Roman governor in Theodoro, YellowVictini, and his supplies provoked the Battle of Balti a few hours later which occurred in southwest Ukraine. Battling of both forces was eventually won by the Greater Roman Empire. On June 18, 2019, Kijow was disbanded in an exchange for the town of Krakov, as rivals achieved peace. Peace treaty was signed on June 27, 2019.

Also, an unexpected Polish expansion into Berlin took place. Because the German town of Berlin fell, Poland funded a mayor called "GeneralEagle574" to create a town in Berlin ruins named "Kopanica". On June 23, 2019, FrederickIII made an ultimatum, where he wanted Kopanica in his hands, but his request was rejected. They declared war on Poland but it died very quickly. This town was strategically very important, however it was disbanded in August 2019. The second version of Kopanica was much smaller and unimportant than the first one which controlled the Reichstag.

Power crisis (June 2019)

POGKPP was crowned the new king of Poland by xHyper20 on May 27, 2019 due to his retirement. He would plan giving him the position in the game but was too lazy that his account would be deleted before he did that. bartek50b became the new mayor of Warsaw (so the king of Poland) on June 19, 2019 and he refused to give leadership back. The rank was eventually given three days later (June 22, 2019).

The Second Great Server War (September 2019 - February 2020)

The Entente declared war on Norway on September 24, 2019. The war quickly escalated worldwide, especially on the European continent, where many nations began to support each side. Regional Powers, which was an alliance in which Norway was a part of it, declared full support for them.

Polish forces participated in the battles of Lundegrunde, Budapest, and Gdansk. The first clash was won by Regional Powers forces despite their huge numerical disadvantage. The European theater died months later, and Poland left the Entente in February 2020. Meanwhile, the Regional Powers alliance was disbanded. Polish territorial height was the greatest in this period of time - Poland controlled not only Poland, but also the majority of Belarus, west Ukraine, Slovakia, and islands such as Bornholm or Gotland.

Commonwealth (October 2019 - February 2020)

Commonwealth was a Polish project launched on October 28, 2019, and was composed of nations of Poland, Tasmania, Lithuania, Belarus, Greater-Armenia and Greater_Russia. Despite its short history, the meganation participated together in few battles. The second more convincing variant of Commonwealth started in April 2020 and its members were Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Zapadoslavia and Tasmania. This meganation ultimately died some weeks later because no one cared about it.

Austrian-Polish War (January 2020 - February 2020)

According to the Polish Kingdom, the nation of the Austrian Empire violated Polish claims over Czechia, resulting in a declaration of war, which occurred on January 30, 2020. War ended on February 21, 2020. Peace treaty obliged Poland to retreat from Czechia and west Slovakia and to have a truce. There were few battles in which few casualties happened.

German-Polish War (April 2020)

In April 2020, the Chancellor of Germany, under the name of BamBamTheEggman, issued an ultimatum to Poland, in which Germany demanded Polish authorities fix broken - according to them - mutual borders. However, Poland ignored their ultimatum, resulting in the declaration of war on April 24, 2020. Austria and many German allies sided with them in the conflict. It is widely considered that Germany was winning the whole conflict, defeating Polish armies in battles and conquering more townblocks in the Polish core. But the conflict died in Autumn 2020 due to inactivity.

First European Empire (July 2020)

On July 11, 2020, both the governments of the Polish Kingdom and Germany announced the creation of the European Empire. The formation, which was a very unexpected act in the international community, united both nations and the PLC nation into one entity. The meganation lasted one day and was disbanded because it turned out to be a German ploy for large amounts of gold and general Polish loot. In fact, Poland didn’t share any of its valuables or money. According to Poland, the meganation was formed unsarcastically, and Germans were called "rebels".

Continuation of the conflict (June 2021)

Since the unification of the Austrian Empire and Germany on June 26, 2021, the conflict has been brought back as Austria took the most important roles in the united state and now it is Austria conflicting with Poland. They actually improved the German situation after June 2021. Up to 2000 chunks were controlled simultaneously in Polish cores (now, many fewer). The Second German-Polish War continues nowadays with no great progress since the Treaty of Malbork (February 21, 2022), in which the 300-chunk town of Malbork would have been incorporated into Poland.

Galicia (June 2020 - September 2020)

On May 27, 2019, xHyper20 abdicated and POGKPP, one of the most important noble holding Gdansk, was thronized for the first time. Since then, his reign has lasted over two years and counting. That led to destabilization in the southern region of Poland in Summer 2020.

3meraldK, a Polish noble, decided to try to overthrow his rule with his companion Wolk__, which controls Krakow, and with UndoneArtist (it turned out he was spying for Poland in February 2021). East Galicia was proclaimed in August 2020, and created on September 21, 2020 in Kosice. They joined Austria as an autonomous vassal on September 6, 2020, because they were worried about their situation in Europe.

New Granada (September 2020 - December 2020)

In September 2020, two merchants, one to be known as Alpajino, bought New Granada placed in modern Venezuela. They subjugated themselves under the Polish banner after they asked RealNek to do so. It lasted a few months until it was sold away to Cubans on December 8, 2020.

Polish Federation (July 2021)

The Second Polish Civil War ended in July 2021 as a result of actions taken by members of the Koszyce Confederation, who threatened and caused destabilization (June 2021). The Polish Kingdom and the West Galician Kingdom merged to form a Polish Federation on July 30, 2021, which granted the member nations complete autonomy except for diplomatic privileges.

Lechian Empire (November 2021)

Negotiations with Bulgarian representatives and the Polish government, initiated by the Polish official, ToMeKiRyS (October 2021), led to the proclamation of the Lechian Empire on November 23, 2021. It consisted of Poland, Galicia, and Bulgaria and later expanded their influence into Croatia and Lithuania (January 2022 - February 2022). The Polish Federation was given the leader role because it was the most influential in the new empire.

Total integration (March 2022)

Strong cooperation between two nations and more would later lead to complete unification of states. On March 14 2022, the Galician Kingdom was sold for 500 gold ingots and the Polish Federation was disbanded. The sold country moved its capital near Lithuania and joined the Polish Kingdom as its vassal the same day (it would be disbanded on March 23, 2022).

Notable personalities

  • Mlecz - father of Poland on EarthMC. He initiated the project of Poland in mid-2018 with his group of friends and managed to establish a major, prosperous power in Europe and the world. He would later be betrayed by his people in the first civil war.
  • POGKPP - a very notable and important noble in EarthMC Polish politics. He would join Poland in November 2018 to Szczecin and begin his political career, cooperating with Mlecz's friends and others. In April 2019, he would be the father of the reborn Polish state, which was completely shattered after the fate of the first civil war. Poland's longest-serving ruler, who still retains the overwhelming support of the country's mayors.
  • xHyper20 - notable politician in EarthMC Poland. He would betray Mlecz in January 2019, after being persuaded by the first civil war revolutionists. He would be one of the rulers in Poland, eventually abdicating in May 2019. He has been a Lechian politician since July 2021, serving as 1st Chancellor and 2nd Lech.
  • 3meraldK - important politician and diplomat in EarthMC Poland. In March 2019, he would join Szczecin, Poland. He would actually bring some important changes to the nation. In May 2020, he started his anti-POGKPP acts, which would lead to a second civil war, which eventually ended in July 2021. Now he's the Polish chancellor and the 2nd Chancellor of the Lechian Empire.
  • ToMeKiRyS - father of the Lechian Empire, noble and diplomat in EarthMC Poland. He would join Koszyce, Poland in April 2019. For most of the time, he would practically do nothing important. He would start his political career in 2021. ToMeKiRyS would be very important in terms of founding Lechian Empire by inviting Bulgarian representatives, and warming up relationships between International Defense Coalition and African/Middle East major powers (Israel, Tanzania). Now he's the 2nd Chancellor of Lechia.
