The First WrestlingWithGod Court refers to the Supreme Court of the Republic of Cascadia from February 26, 2023 to June 18, 2023, when WrestlingWithGod served his first tenure as the third Chief Justice of Cascadia. WrestlingWithGod had served as an associate justice of the Supreme Court prior to appointment as Chief Justice, and succeeded xBest_Name_Everx in that position.
This court represented a shift of the Supreme Court towards a modern and politicized institution, ruling on several high-level cases relating to executive power and civil liberties. The First WrestlingWithGod Court marked a distinct conservative trend towards favoring a strong central national government, ruling in favor of anti-discrimination laws, and presidential authority to detain individuals for national security purposes. Several key rulings of the Supreme Court were issued under the First WrestlingWithCourt Court, such as Akeboun v. Moxies_hoe, Giz v. Milgorn, Cascadia v. AllStarPro, and Akeboun v. NSX.
WrestlingWithGod would resign as Chief Justice upon election as President in the June 2023 presidential election, and would be replaced by Associate Justice Beamz30 as Chief Justice, starting the Beamz30 Court, starting a liberal shift on the Supreme Court.
Membership
The First WrestlingWithGod Court consisted of Wrestling and two Associate Justices: Aurivia, and Beamz30. Aurivia would serve for the entirety of the Wrestling court, while Beamz would be appointed mid-way through it. Throughout the whole court, all judges of the Court were affiliated with the populist Frontier movement, leading to a conservative lean to the Court.

Major rulings
Akeboun v. N_S_X (2023)
In a 2-1 decision, the court upheld the Treasury’s authority over public funds, ruling against the Secretary of Social Services’ request for direct withdrawal permissions. The majority opinion emphasized the Treasury’s oversight role as established by the Executive Organization Act of September 2022.
Cascadia v. AllStarPro90 (2023)
The court enforced the Anti-Discrimination Act, sentencing AllStarPro90 to pay fines and liquidate assets for making offensive statements. The ruling emphasized that freedom of speech does not exempt individuals from consequences for discriminatory language.
OhGizmo v. Milgorn123 (2023)
The court unanimously upheld the President’s authority to temporarily ban citizens for national security reasons during elections. However, it also ruled that citizens should be properly informed of accusations against them and compensated for lost voting time.
Akeboun v. Moxies_hoe (2023)
The court upheld the ruling in Cascadia v. AllStarPro90 regarding the coverage of the Anti-Discrimination Act and extended its coverage to also include protection from discrimination based off of political opinion.
