Dexter_that_boi was a Cascadian entrepreneur and filmmaker who is famous for being the CEO and founder of the now defunct Cascadian Safety Fund, and Golden Reel Films.
Life
Early Years
Dex grew up in Olympia, Cascadia right by the seaside. On January 14, 2025, while with his friend, Fff34, during a fireworks show in Seattle, Fff34 fell and began to drown in the deep bay. On January 16, Dex founded the Cascadian Safety Fund, promoting ocean safety, weapon safety, and hiking safety.
Unemployment and Issues
On January 16, 2026, 1 whole year after it's founding, the CSF became inactive and eventually ceased operations. Dex became slowly insane, going on a gambling spree in places like Vancouver, San Francisco, and New York.
Filmmaking
Dex began to get interested into films, proposing new shows and movies to people. He tried working on his film, Uptown, but lost interest and funding.
Second Unemployment
Dex spiraled into severe issues, and eventually, lost all hope in his career. He confirmed he was in debt and could not recover.
Death
On February 6, 2026, Dex sold his apartment in Grouse, and took a trip to Vancouver. There, he went to Victoria, watched an RFL game, left the stadium, went to the highest point in Victoria, and jumped off. His death shocked the world, especially
Reactions
Citizens of Grouse ended up putting up a memorial to honor Dex, and a book was written about him.
