General elections were held on 17 October 2022 in Cascadia to elect the President of Cascadia, the Chief Judge, and all twelve seats in the House of Representatives for one-month terms. These were the third elections to be held in Cascadia, and the first to be held after the independence of Cascadia from New Mexico and the separation of Cascadia from the United States of America. This was also the first election in which the Governor title was changed to President. The title was changed in mid-September.
Incumbent President ViolentVampire stood for re-election, after several giant achievements, such as victory in the Six-Hour war, doubling the population of Cascadia, and the continued success of Cascadian welfare programs. He was challenged by Mayor of San Diego PesosInhaler, also known as LawOfRence, a veteran player from Terra Nova running a shitpost campaign. The presidential election resulted in Vamp's easy re-election, receiving 88.9% of the vote. Voter turnout was down slightly at 40.9% of registered voters, however the number of raw votes increased by 6. The house elections resulted in incumbents winning two-thirds of the seats, with Incumbents however winning just 51% of first-preference votes.

Chief Judge
Bubba_Tea, who was first elected at the August 2022 election, did not seek a second term. Secretary of State xBest_Name_Everx ran uncontested, however under the Right of Opposition Act, a "None of the Above" option was put on the ballot.

Elections were held to elect the 3rd Legislature of Cascadia. 12 seats were returned from three multi-member constituencies: Frontier, South Metropolitan (succeeding Rainier), and North Metropolitan (succeeding Salish).
Frontier (4 seats)
Jtwokay, who was serving as Treasurer of Cascadia at the time, topped the poll. Former Representative Cheeseballfluffy was elected back into the House. Incumbent CatPerson136 was re-elected. Bachinuni was elected for the first time. PavTheYT lost re-election.

Paradox_1080, a newcomer, topped the poll. Moxicodone was first elected to the House. Incumbents SayerQT and Arathorn52 would be re-elected. Supesu_ would lose re-election. DaPigThatBig would enter his first electoral contest, although unsuccessful.
