Beamz30 Court

The Beamz30 Court refers to the Supreme Court of the Republic of Cascadia from June 19, 2023 to July 17, 2023, when Beamz30 served as the fourth Chief Justice of Cascadia. Beamz30 had served as an associate justice of the Supreme Court prior to appointment as Chief Justice, and succeeded WrestlingWithGod in that position.
The Beamz Court, while short in tenure, marked the start of the liberal trend away from the conservative consensus established by the WrestlingWithGod Court. The appointment of liberal Sayerleft to the Supreme Court by outgoing president Setrus, while controversial, started a philosophy of strict liberal constitutionalism and expansion and protection of civil liberties afforded by the Constitution. However, during the tenure of the Beamz court, only one case was ruled upon, and it was largely a continuation of the WrestlingWithCourt's court's protection of the national government; although was notable for the extensive majority opinion written by Associate Justice Sayerleft.
The nomination of Moggs to the Court by president WrestlingWithGod was controversial, due to former chief justice xBest_Name_Everx winning a straw-poll conducted by the president in the House of Representatives. Moggs would lose their nomination battle, but would later be renominated a week later and narrowly confirmed.
Beamz30 would lose retention in the July 2023 general election, and would be replaced by Associate Justice Moggs as Chief Justice, starting the Moggs Court.
Membership
The Beamz30 Court consisted of Beamz and two Associate Justices: Sayerleft, and Moggs. Sayerleft would serve for the entirety of the Beamz30 court, while Moggs would be appointed mid-way through it, and wouldn't rule on a single case.

Major rulings
Bon_Kranch v. Cascadia
In a unanimous decision, the court ruled against that the challenge made to the legal concept of a "Cascadian national" (A resident of a territory not incorporated under the Constitution) due to the fact that nationals were denied rights such as suffrage.
Other branches
WrestlingWithGod was president of Cascadia during this court. The Legislature during this court were the 11th Legislature of Cascadia.
