President & Public Advocate
The President of Cascadia is elected by Instant Runoff Voting when there are more than two candidates being on the ballot. In this system, voters complete a closed ballot on google forms, numbering candidates 1, 2, 3, etc. in order of their preference. The voting period lasts for roughly twenty four hours, however this may be a tiny bit more. Voters may mark as many or as few preferences as they wish. Each ballot is initially credited to its first-preference candidate but may be transferred on later counts to the next available preference where the first preference candidate is elected or eliminated.

This system is also used in elections for Public Advocate. Voters must verify their vote in an #i-voted channel to ensure election security.

Endorsements
Endorsements were not taken seriously this election cycle, as a result, all Public Advocates were endorsed countless times.

Campaign
MMMeslina and Xeocas did not receive an official endorsement for President this election.

Background
Note: Asterisk (*) means it is not guaranteed the individual endorsed the candidate. Since the election, the accounts of three candidates have been deleted, meaning it is difficult to tell who endorsed whom. Endorsements marked with an asterisk (*) are based on context and relationships.

Campaign
* RAWRyoutube: Primarily ran on having a unique cabinet, promoting opportunity and expanding the Cascadian economy (Campaign document has been deleted).

* MasterEWild: The Wild Campaign Website
* Flippizzacake: Ran on a platform of maintaining peace and advertising the national shop. Flippizzacake campaign edit (Epilepsy warning)
*Mjap04: Ran on securing Cascadia's legacy going into reset and increasing activity.
*HawaiianDPG: Ran on a similar platform as Mjap04.
*MMMeslina: MMMeslina did not provide a campaign and simply declared their candidacy.
* GeneralScrooge: GeneralScrooge's campaign was also a joke, running on "helping Grouse in its conquest"
*Xeocas: Xeocas's campaign was a joke, running on expanding Cascadia to all of North America and establishing total Olympian control.
Differences and Controversies
Differences and Controversies
...
Most candidates this election had not been involved in any major controversy. The biggest relevant controversy brought up this election was RAWRyoutube's alleged defection to Texas.
Debate
Debate
This was an interesting one, you had to be there to get it!
This was an interesting debate, but it was not well documented. What is known is that about halfway through, Sayerleft joined to jokingly impersonate Flippizzacake, who was not present.

In the first poll held afterwards, citizens voted that Sayerleft (as Flippizzacake) had won the debate with 14 votes, followed by RAWRyoutube with 6, and MasterEWild and Mjap04 tied with 5 each.

General elections were held on December 21, 2025 in Cascadia to elect the President, Public Advocate, and all 23 seats in the 41st House of Representatives, alongside retention referendums for the Supreme Court.

Electoral system

House of Representatives

Members of the House of Representatives are elected by single transferable vote (STV) from 6 constituencies with between three and five seats, apportioned to districts based on voter turnout via the Adams method.

MMMeslina and Xeocas did not receive an official endorsement for President this election.

Note: Asterisk (*) means it is not guaranteed the individual endorsed the candidate. Since the election, the accounts of three candidates have been deleted, meaning it is difficult to tell who endorsed whom. Endorsements marked with an asterisk (*) are based on context and relationships.

Campaign

An ad released by the RAWRyoutube campaign relating to their plans if elected.
An ad released by the RAWRyoutube campaign relating to their unique cabinet.
 • RAWRyoutube: Primarily ran on having a unique cabinet, promoting opportunity and expanding the Cascadian economy (Campaign document has been deleted).
MasterEWild's campaign poster for the December 2025 election.
 • MasterEWild: The Wild Campaign Website
 • Flippizzacake: Ran on a platform of maintaining peace and advertising the national shop. [Flippizzacake campaign edit] (Epilepsy warning)
 • Mjap04: Ran on securing Cascadia's legacy going into reset and increasing activity.
 • HawaiianDPG: Ran on a similar platform as Mjap04.
 • MMMeslina: MMMeslina did not provide a campaign and simply declared their candidacy.
 • GeneralScrooge: GeneralScrooge's campaign was also a joke, running on "helping Grouse in its conquest"
 • Xeocas: Xeocas's campaign was a joke, running on expanding Cascadia to all of North America and establishing total Olympian control.

Differences and Controversies

Most candidates this election had not been involved in any major controversy. The biggest relevant controversy brought up this election was RAWRyoutube's alleged defection to Texas.

Debate

This was an interesting debate, but it was not well documented. What is known is that about halfway through, Sayerleft joined to jokingly impersonate Flippizzacake, who was not present.

In the first poll held afterwards, citizens voted that Sayerleft (as Flippizzacake) had won the debate with 14 votes, followed by RAWRyoutube with 6, and MasterEWild and Mjap04 tied with 5 each.
